OOC: Uh... I'm in a demon cloak right now...

I was thankful that he hadn't mistook me for an enemy with the robes I stole on. After Gar's rampage, one shade remained. I rushed to him, but he dissintergrated before I arrived, probably knowing I intended to capture him, despite that I looked like him. I turned to look at the group, wondering why they were looking at me akwardly. It took me a while to figure it out, but eventually I understood and removed the hood I borrowed from one of the demons. The robe was actually quite comfortable. "Hi guys and gals!" I said quite suddenly. "So, what's this demon stuff all about?" I said as if -nearly- nothing happened.

[Not-Garr]

(And note that I picked up Enrique, and beckoned to you. LEVEL UP ! !)

"Really,oooh,now I want one",I joked. I went and checked on Lorina who just gave me POed looks. "What,is it my fault you got attacked",I asked. "Nope,but you could have helped me out",she said angerly. "alright my fault,lets see whats going on",I remarked.

[Leoshi]

I sighed. I knew after bringing them out, an explanation was in order.

"First of all, I want to apologize for bringing you all out here, though I have some urgent news to tell you all.

I reached into a bag and held my old spell book before them. "This is a spell book, written 3,000 years ago. You see, there was an ancient civilization, but it fell to a dark and mighty empire. all the remained of this civilization was this book, said to contain glean and destructive power."

I sighed, wondering just how much the others believed me. "But now that the book has been discovered in our time, this strange dark force is coming again, and history is in danger of repeating itself. That is why I must protect the book at all costs..."

"The reason I have brought you all here is because I have been here long enough to notice each of you possesses one or more helpful abilities. After the burden of this job became too much for me to bear, I had no choice but to ask for help. especially when I learned that this dark force had threatened to make a direct attack on the city."

I gave a sigh. "so again, I apologize for bringing you all into this, but now we are all involved in a dangerous battle, that can determine the future."

[Teo]

If history repeats itself, I wonder if if we fail, we'll have a relapse... always wondered.

"3,000 year old book and magical spells... sounds about why a big bunch of baddies would wanna come after you. So tell me, how exactly did you find out it's history... and that it was 3,000 years old... because if that's written in English or French, I would love to take a glance at it..." This book had many mysteries, how many could be answered here and now, probably not very many, but hey, it's a start.

[Not-Garr]

Gar tapped a foot, smirking, "I knew why you called me, that's the only reason anyone ever calls for my help, Leo. That book... Heh, reminds me of Niflheim, and I'm with you the whole way. You possess the book, you're the leader, I've been in many situations... If you're unsure of something, ask me, I'm usually helpful." he smirked, and walked over next to Teo, "And I think...that this guy has a point, we should look the book over, if you can master some of its' powers, it could come in handy in future battles."

[Gene L.D. Ryoko]

"Is that all,cool. I belive ya if thats what you were worried about,you should see some of the stuff I get into",I said to reasure hime,"and Lorina was along one of those trips". "So we are here to protect this 3000 year old book from some folk who wish to destory this town",said Lorina. I then looked twords memorys of bad events that happend in the history of the kingdoms in this world. "definetly don't want any caticlysms so happen again.

[UMS Author Lava]

Lava: Enrique! Can I help with that?
Gothpuff: What about me?
Lava: Use your super-accurate status spells to hold back those guys.
Gothpuff: If you wish...
So Gothpuff started using Bioga to hold back the shady figures whille Lava went to where Enrique is.
Lava: So, uh, do we need to hit the portal or something? Or we should look for whoever's making that portal.

[Enrique]

(Sorry for the delay; I go to bed at 11 and didn't have enough time to post earlier this morning because I had to come into school early.)

I was surprised at the fact that the dragon in the crowd, named Gar, picked me up in the heat of the battle. The good thing was that I was at least a bit protected from some of the demons while everyone was fighting them. The leader, Leoshi, called everyone to attention to explain the situation. After his little speech, Lava approached me concerning the portal. "I don't know if would risk it. We already have it blocked off, and I would think that it would diminish eventually."

I stopped to think about what Leoshi had said. "A 3000 year old book?! And we have to... safeguard it?!" It must be incredibly valuable if he called all of us together to guard it...

[anjilfan]

I got up from my chair "Hmph.The book." I put on my coat and left.

[Wildfire the Dragon]

((Sorry I'm late. I almost forgot about this.))

"So, protecting should be a sinch, right?" I asked.
"You think everything is so easy?" Louie wondered.
"Better than panicking. OK, 3,000 year old book, dark shady guys, sounds cool." I had a concerned look on my face.

"Well, another day, another adventure...
It maybe a sinch, but I don't have a clue, plus I really want to see what that book can really do..."

[UMS Author Lava]

OOC: OK, I meant whoever is summoning these guys.

While Lava was speakiung with Enrique, there appeared a gigantic mushroom-shaped figure behind him.
???? ????????: Boo!
Lava: Oh drat, not again...
Lava turned to see King Goomboss, one of his pet peeves from a big villain team.
King Goomboss: Whoa whoa whoa! There's a fight here without my involvement? Now that isn't nice! Wahahahah!
Lava: Can you bug us some OTHER time?!
King Goomboss: How 'bout no! I'll bash you, your other buddies, and those other evil guys!
Lava: Don't try me!!
So Lava is sidetracked to take on King Goomboss. Lava starts with a Waterga to the face. King Goomboss then gives a big Goomstomp, lowering Lava's Defense while damaging.
Lava: N-No need for aid, guys. I can kick this guy outta the way.
King Goomboss: Ooh, confident, are ya?

[Yoshiken]

Yoshiken turns to Leoshi with a familiar smile on his face, "so you called me here to help protect you and a simple book from the almost-invincible forces of evil, with only this small group of allies? sounds easy enough! and why do you apologize, im actually glad you called me! it was getting so boring and i was fearing that my battling skills might become rusty!"

Yoshiken adjusted his headband and laughed cheerfully to backup his remark about not having to worry about the situation.

[Leoshi]

I was a little surprised to see the others so willing to help instead of yelling at me for putting them through this. I didn't say anything, but I returned to my book. It seemed this thing was going to be the most important thing in my life.

I looked back at the others. I shyly took a step away from them. "...well... as for this book, I have found out all of this after extensive research. Now, I know some of you may be skeptics." I looked toward Enrique. "I won't make you believe anything, but know that this is no laughing matter."

That's when I looked at Yoshiken. "The very world's future is at stake. We can't afford to mess anything up... though for today, I think we have done enough."

I began to walk away from them. "I apologize for all of this, really. I have to try and think of our next course of action."

[Enrique]

I responded to Leoshi's statement concerning the possible skepticism of the book. "Well... I don't beleive that there would be a major scientific reasoning behind most of the stuff contained in the book... But whatever works is fine with me..." I suddenly remembered that Gar was still carrying me in his arm. "Uh, just for curiosity, Gar, why you still carrying me?" I guess I didn't have a problem with this; I just wanted to know why...

[Not-Garr]

Gar blinked, and sweatdropped, setting Enrique upright, "Sorry about that, got a little...sidetracked."

[Enrique]

After Gar released me, I approached Leoshi and the book. He seemed a little unsure of how he was going to deal with the situation of protecting this book. "Do you need help deciding what to do next?" I was hoping that he would respond, and that I could help in some way.

[Yoshiken]

Yoshiken noticed that there was a bit of frustration among the group and decided to speak out loudly to anyone willing to listen, "Everyone! just a warning! we do not need fear and pessimism to reside in our hearts! our greatest weapons are our Faith, hope, and companionship! i urge all of you to look forward in this quest with optimistic eyes! we will win! this i guarantee!"

Yoshiken hoped this would raise the morale of the team. He then asked a fairly...odd question that wasnt relevant to the situation.

"and does anyone have a place to stay? I kind of...dont have one at the moment"

[Not-Garr]

Gar gave Yoshiken a look, and sweatdropped, noticing that no one was really listening to him, he gave him a wink, and let out a roar, "HEY!!! Listen up! Especially you, Leo! This is anything BUT the time we should be splittin' up. We need to stick together, and Leo... Wouldn't it be easier to decide the next move if you had everyone's resources in one place to draw on?"
