As Lukasz was making his way toward his house, he noticed that the Yoshi girl that had tripped over him - she apparently had a pet-like thing with her - was following him. This was both annoying and worrying Lukasz; she obviously know that he was up to something; he had to rid of this girl promptly. He didn't know if she was somewhat associated with the "Leoshi" person, so at first, he didn't seem suspicious of her being a stalker. However, after telling her "pet" that she was suspicious of him, he knew that he had to eliminate her in order to eliminate all known suspicions of him. The one positive note that he had on himself was that the girl only knew Lukasz's alias - she did not know his real name from what he eavesdropped - yet he was still curious of how she knew of this name.
Lukasz was frustrated in his attempts to calmly rid the girl; she would not cease stalking him; he had to make a decision: whether to try to rid of the girl on the street or to rid of her and her "pet" via lethal injection. He decided on the latter; he could not risk this girl reporting Lukasz's presence - as "Peter Dentrazet" - to a higher authority or to "Leoshi," if indeed she was associated with the latter.
Slightly tilting his head to the left, Lukasz looked briefly behind him, only to try to get a response from the girl; he could not ignore the fact that she was following him nor let the girl think that he didn't know of her presence. "Could you please tell me why you are following me?" Shortly after he spoke, he ceased motion on the sidewalk, waiting for a response from the girl.
