Tale of Yoshis Quest

[Leoshi]

Alright, I'll start it off now:

The feel of ominous evil surrounded Yoshi's Island. It wasn't there, though for some reason, there was a sense of darkness looming over the island. A strange dark set of clouds had hovered over the island. While many may have thought it was but a simple storm, seeing such a set of clouds over an island that always got sun and brightness was disturbing.

"Leoshi, are you positive about your assumptions?" Merier asked.

Leo looked back up, staring right at Merier as they stood at the beach.

"Positive." Leoshi said. "It's been a while since I have felt this sure. Something dark is coming."

Merier tilted his head to look at the Majestuosa. It was a huge caravel ship with a yoshi's egg painted on the sails, waiting for them in the water nearby.

"So then, I suppose the fliers have already been sent out?" Merier asked.

"Yes." Leo said. "I scattered them all over the island. Hopefully, more people will come and want to assist. Maybe I'll even get someone who's willing to lead this trip. As soon as we get enough people, we'll set sail..." Leoshi looked toward his ship. "...now it's just a matter of time."

[Yoshiken]

(we need more people! XD!, and I guess this makes me the leader of the good since I didnt get anyone to join my mercenary group)

Yoshiken was walking down a main street eating an apple that he had just eaten when something caught his eye. On a window of an antique shop was a small flier. Yoshiken read it carefully and he ripped off and threw it into a pack on his side. "Hahahaha!! Evil once again shows its odious face! I guess its up to me to put them where they belong!"

Yoshiken read the author of the flier, "Leoshi eh!? Cant wait to see him again! I hope hes doing well, I bet he will be surprised to see me again!"

Yoshiken adjusted his gear and took a last bite of the apple before throwing it away in a nearby trash can. He spread his wings, and was off to meet destiny once again.

[Twi]

(May as well be next for the side of evil!)

The Twilight Yoshi sat in his lair looking out over the gloomy sky. "Another Evil?" he though as he turn towards his collection of weaponry. "May as well kill it, more for me to destroy." He grabbed and spear type weapon and practices swinging it for a short while to practice. "That should do..." He grabbed two more swords and put them on his back and a further two in scabards on his sides. He put on his spiked gloves and two knives in his ankle holds. He put his spiked shoulderguards on and picked up the spear. His eyes glowed a sinister Purple as he lept from his lair and disappeared in a flash of purple sparks.

[Enrique]

Lukasz Seszkrzyzinski paced about the streets of the dark-cloud-covered island. "That storm will hit us soon..." The storm was but a Category Two hurricane approaching the island; its name was Hurricane Albert. It was rather unusual to see this; April was a very early time for the hurricane season to start, let alone one as strong as a Category Two to occur. It was also rather unusual since Yoshi's Island didn't receive many hurricanes; the island is located in a tropical area, but it is also located in a subregion of the ocean that doesn't experience much hurricane activity. However, Seszkrzyzinski prepared for the worst anyway; the windows of his house were boarded, and his emergency kit was in the laboratory under his house; it was usually a safe place to weather a storm like this. He wasn't concerned that the storm will cause much damage; the meteorology center that a relative of his works at stated earlier today that the storm was starting to weaken, and that Seszkrzyzinski had been through worse storms.

As Lukasz paced about the city, he noticed that signs were placed all over the city. Quite frankly, he was rather annoyed by it, since the headline of it had nothing to do with the hurricane. A loose one appeared at his feet; he stopped to observe it, seeing what was the nonsense that has been plaguing the island lately. The flier had stated that "evil was on its way to Yoshi's Island," stating that the dark clouds that loomed overhead was a sign of "ominous, murderous evil." Lukasz laughed, for the author of this had an IQ lower than pi in his mind. "You silly, ignorant boy. It's a damn hurricane!" He ripped the flyer into many small pieces and continued to laugh.

Although he had been murderous of those who opposed him, Lukasz Seszkrzyzinski had not been caught yet; he hasn't even been suspected for murder yet, for his method of killing and disposing of dead bodies has been effective enough no one even knew that the people that were murdered died. He would inject what he would claim was an "experimental immunization to overexcessive superhuman powers," or commonly known as magic, and it instead would be a strong toxic pathogen that would clog the blood vessels and chambers of the heart, killing the victim via no circulation, and no oxygen. He would cremate the dead bodies and then bury the ashes in the soil. So far, he hasn't been discovered.

After ripping the flyer and throwing it away, he was suspicious of his Leoshi that had written the flyer; he thought that this Leoshi learned about him from some immaculate source, since even those who may have witnessed Lukasz's work were put under the same treatment. He now had set his plan to eliminate this Leoshi and all that followed him. "This shouldn't be too difficult..." He thought that the victims were too ignorant to know that he had a plan to kill them...

[Teo]

I guess I should get up now... Teo said, from his safe position in a cave, further off from the nearest city. I really have to stop being so lazy, I'll ruin my reputation, he thought to himself, getting up and taking a deep breath.

Although, his breath didn't complete himself. Teo starred open eyed in from of him, trying to swallow air, but finding it block. He panicked and started coughing, until a piece of paper flew out of his mouth onto the ground. "People really have to stop littering!! God dangit, I could have choked on that!" Despite it having nearly killed Teo, he picked it up and curiously read it. "Hmm... hmm... Ah! Leoshi's at it again! I was wondering why those clouds were settling over the island, and he seems to know why. Alright, off on another whirl wind of an adventure!!" Teo said exitedly, pacing out of his cave and jogging to the nearest port-side city, where he hoped he could find Leoshi and maybe the rest of the crew.

[Yoshiken]

Yoshiken flew the destination specified on the flier. Yoshiken landed and saw a large ship, and two people who he immediately recognized. "Leoshi! Merier! its me, Yoshiken!"

Yoshiken ran up closer to the docks to where he was right next to Leoshi, "How are ya? I saw your fliers and decided to lend a helping hand!" He turned his head left and right, "I guess im the first to arrive."

He paused and then spoke with a more serious tone, "I need you to answer two questions for me. First, do you have any more evidence that evil has struck again excluding the dark clouds that you specified in the flier, and second, when did you start sensing this evil?"

[Leoshi]

"Ah, Yoshiken." Merier said. "Pleased to see you again."
Leo, as always, was much quieter. "First, you need to understand. ...these may appear to be common storm clouds, but... you see, this is the exact formation I saw a while back. I still recall that dreaded day... these clouds appeared just days before a place was in ruins... and not by any mere storm... though to accurately explain it to you would take a while."

Leoshi looked down. "...secondly, I first sensed this evil two days ago. It was night. You see, I was sailing, and decided to return to Yoshi's Island in order to rest. However, as I got nearer, I spotted the clouds. It was strange, because there where only surrounding this island. Everywhere else is clear and sunny. It where as if this island is marked..."

Merier looked at Leo, sensing the sound of seriousness.

"But you see, as I got near the island, I spotted a few other ships. They are not close enough to see from here, but they are coming to this island. ...it was distressing, because they appeared to be battleships. So, I somehow beat them here, found Merier, and decided to recruit others, because there is no way a single little yoshi on board of an un-armed caravel can take on a fleet of battleships..."

Leoshi turned around. "Merier, I'll stay here. Can you please go on the ship and prepare her for a quick launch. We'll be departing very soon."

Merier nodded and walked to the ship, preparing it for a launch.

"As soon as enough show up, we have no choice but to set sail. I'm sorry, Yoshiken, for I know this is short notice."

[TJYoshi]

"Thank you, so much for the help young man" said a elder female yoshi. "Your welcome Ms. I'll better get going, so bye." The blue winged yoshi reply to the elder. And with that, he turn to the door, left the building, and took flight. "Another job done. Now I can go home and rest." said the yoshi.

Suddenly, a powerful gust push the winged yoshi off the sky. He almost lost, but gain control of his wings. " Geez, must be a windy day. But the weather report said the winds is going to be calm." He said as he turned around, a paper sorrowing in the air, hit his face. The yoshi peeled the paper off and read it. It appears to be a flyer. As he reading it. It's said "Great evil", " needs help", "meet at the port" and stuff.

"A great evil, huh? I thought I senced something wrong." As he finish reading, he saw it sign by Leoshi."Mmmm, I guess it's nice to meet new people." The yoshi starting to sorrow in high-speed, heading to the port.

[eloeem]

It was a normal day, sun and just some dark clouds hovering trough the air.

Eloeem still asleep beside a small opening inside the forest, talking to himself in the sleep. Serina sitting beside him with some Small fruits and berry's to start of a meal. Serina sense something drop from the sky, a flier hit the ground.

Serina looked at the massage and leaped toward Eloeem. Serina used the psychic ability to talk to Eloeem: "Wake up, Wake up!!" not getting any response she hold her paw over Eloeems mouth and the other one over he's nose.

after a while, Eloeem shot he's eyes open and gasped after air after Serina released her paws. "what did you do that for?" Eloeem said and noticed the pile of food beside him. "ooh, did I sleep while you gathered food again?" Eloeem got a embarrassed face "sorry I didn't know..."

Serina took a peak at the message lying a few feet away and then turned her look at Eloeem "I did wake you up because of that message, the breakfast could wait, but what is this?"

Eloeem got up and took the message up and said: "this is from Leo?"

"who is "Leo"?" Serina asked.

"well... that is a long story... man, I forgot all about him... but I remember him now..." Eloeem replied getting a sore face "It's been so long ago... anyway, it stands here that there are... evil coming, and... he is looking for someone willing to assist him. And all who are, shall meet up at the dock..."

"Evil?" Serina said with a scared face "Maybe we should ignore th-" she get interrupted by Eloeem "NO WAY... this I want to see, and beside I have to get back to civilization."

Serina gave a sigh "If you say so, but don't say I didn't warn you!"

Eloeem smiled and signaled Serina to follow him but suddenly he stopped."I nearly forgot our breakfast" Eloeem said and turned to put some fruit inside he's backpack. when the backpack where well full he took a banana from the rest of the food pile that should be abandoned.

Serina gave a new sigh and follows Eloeem at close range in mid-air that already have began to run in the direction of the beach nearby the forests edge.

when Eloeem was at the beach he said "what direction? left or right?"

Serina immediately gained altitude and scouted for the dock, Eloeem sat down taking a new bite from the banana he held in he's hand.

after a couple of minutes, Serina returned and said : "to the right" while landing on the shoulder to Eloeem.

The Small dragon where just as big as the arm to the Yoshi.

Eloeem got up, while Sarina still sitting on he's shoulder, he could hear the tiny heart of the dragon beating twice as fast as he's own. he then began to run to the right, hoping the dock where no to far away.

[Twi]

In a flash The Twilight Yoshi appeared in an almost deserted street. The wind was blowing strongly and a piece of paper flapped wildly at his feet. He picked it up cautiously and read it. "Great evil? I was right...maybe this 'Leoshi' could tell me more...though i don't want to help this guy...." he though. He threw the paper behind him. "Where could i find him?"
The Twilight Yoshi spotted a blue winged yoshi flying past him at a good speed. He looked as he flew away. "Maybe he knows." He started to follow the yoshi, first walking then into a run. "Hmm, he's going to fast...I need more speed." He formed a glowing ball of energy into his left hand and punch the ground causing sparks to form from it. A shape of what seemed to be a four-legged lizard type creature came into view, first as a siloette, then as a creature. The Twilight Yoshi mounted it and made it charge after the blue yoshi. "More like it."
He chased after the yoshi on the lizard-steed he had created with no idea about where he was going.

[TJYoshi]

The yoshi sence something powerful. "What's this foul smell?" The yoshi turn his head while he's flying. He saw two figires following him. "Man, one thing I hate about flying is when someone following me for no reason. Star!!! Attack the follower!!!.

4 large sharp-edge stars from the sky, came out and start aiming the follower. Then the yoshi flew in mach-speed to lose the follower.

[Twi]

"Great..." Thought Twilight Yoshi. As the stars came towards him he backflipped off his mount and held his spear ready to fight. His spear started to glow as he span to hit the first star to smitherines. The second and third came from behind. HE noticed them and backflipped over them and slashed them before he landed. The final one was charging towards him. He slowly put his spear down and just before the star hit he ducked and pulled out a dagger and threw it at the star destroying it. He walked slowly towards the dagger and picked it up putting it back in his ankle holder. "Now i lost him..." Standing in the middle of the street he picked up his spear and walked slowly forwards. He stopped and looked around. The yoshi was no-where to be found. His mount looked at him and Twilight Yoshi looked back. He held his hand out and the mount disappeared in a ball of energy. He just stood, looking at his surrounding, pondering.

[Lord of the Dance]

I walked with Champ on my shoulder down the city street.
<Doesn't he reside near the beach?> Champ asked, trying to be helpful.
"We already looked there. But it seemed there was a gathering on the dock... I wonder if that boat left already?" I asked.
<Haha. You know, he's attracted to adventure. He's probably on that boat already.> I grinned. Champ was talking about a certain someone, and it wasn't Charon.
"Remember where the dock is?" Champ conjoured a mental map of the city we had made earlier on a sunny day's walk. "Oh yeah. How could I have forgotten? We just passed it!" I started running. I found running in the rain to be funner than just moving, for some reason. Champ's bangs blew around in the wind, but the rain fell right through him. I would have to brush him down later.
<Captain! Iceberg ahead!> Champ suddenly shouted. I looked up from the paved road to see a strange, unfamiliar light blue Yoshi in a jacket ahead. I threw my feet forward and tucked my arms at my side, trying to stop. Too late. I bowled over the light blue Yoshi and flew a few inches over him as he fell. I landed on my stomach and scraped myself up on the sharp bricks on the road, while Champ soared over me and landed on a wall, knocking off a flyer for something.
<We have... liftoff...> Champ groaned. He hadn't braced himself to fly through the wall instead of into it.

[eloeem]

The running got slower, and Eloeem began to walk instead.

"umm, if you are hungry we might sit down and eat a bit." Eloeem said to Serina

Serina tilted her head, looking at the side of Eloeems face "do you say that because you're hungry or because you think I am?" she asked still using her psychical ability to talk.

"umm... well, I am a bit hungry, yes... is it so obvious?" Eloeem asked back.

"Sure it is" she said and blinked to Eloeem "you forget I got psychical powers..."

"DANG, yea I did forget that" Eloeem looked down at the beach noticing the sand had turned more dark "well are you Hungry?"

Serina gave a sigh and said: "I already ate breakfast, so no worries!"

"OK, OK, I hear ya... you always think ahead" Eloeem said with a defeated kind of voice.

"Don't get hurt cause of it" Serina blinked and said: "I got a strong mind from the beginning, go ahead and eat if you want."

Eloeem smiled back and sat down, taking out a bunch of grape and swallowed it whole and let out a single burp. Serina let out a sigh, "disgusting" she thought and looked another way.

"whats the matter?" Eloeem asked "you seem more like you live in the city than in the jungle..."

"You also forget the fact I am girl, you have to respect that" Serina said while Eoleem swallowed 3 bananas and a orange.

"I DO respect it..." Eloeem said while letting another burp out "AHHH... that was delicious!" he got up and took the backpack on again and began to walk again. "you sure know where to find the best fruit on this Island"

Serina made a small sigh, shacked her head, smiled then took of into the air flapping her wings fast in the air. Eloeem continued to walk while he looked at the playing dragon flying after small birds. She looked happy, and Eloeem loved that sight.

Serina stopped chasing the birds, and hovered in mid-air while using her telepathy, "The dock is right that way Eloeem! Not to long a way, common, don't be so slow" she made a loop and dived trough the air and stopped right before she hit Eloeem.

"Finaly... it is so long ago I saw Leo the last time..." Eloeem replied and began to run toward the dock.

Serina followed up close, "He is a good friend to you?"

"Yea... he was though, but I don't know if he'll recognize me" Eloeem continued running then saw the dock in a distance, "There it is the dock" Eloeem shouted and noticed a ship docked to the dock, "ohh... the Majestuosa. look just like before..."

"Memories coming back?" Serina asked and giggled

"Comeon... don't do this to me," Eloeem said a bit annoyed, "I know I got a bad memory, but you don't need to-" he got interrupted by Serina "Sure, sure I won't, don't be so mad anyway"

Eloeem gave sigh and continued to the dock, where he noticed two Yoshis standing beside each other. He gave a big sigh, and took a few steps toward the Yoshis, the one where red, the other one Blue. not recognizing who it was he took some new uncertain steps toward them, with Serina closely behind him.

[Leoshi]

Leo tilted hs head away from Yoshiken as he spotted the yoshi and the dragon. "...hm?"
Though the dragon was unrecognizable, the yoshi looked familar. "...wait a moment. Is that you, Eloeem... I can't believe I would see you again, and here of all places. Um... who is that with you?"

[eloeem]

Suddenly recognizing who it was standing in front of him, Eloeem began to be existed.

"Leoshi!!!" Eloeem grinned and continued, "This is Serina."

Serina jumped behind Eloeems legs just as she was hiding.

"Whats wrong?" Eloeem asked.

"I don't know them" Serina said with telepathy so no one else could hear.

"Common, they are old friends." Eloeem said and took a step to the side, letting the small dragon show.

"Eloeem, don't do this to me..." Serina said and blushed.

"After we got separated, I meet her in the Jungle," Eloeem explained, "and I lived there for quite some time." Eloeem grinned and continued "now we are very good friends, like, companions I guess."

Serinas face turned normal, and she made a small smile "Well, I guess I can trust you then... yes, I am Serina, I am pleased to meet you!" Serina told all the three Yoshis with Telepathy. she grinned, but some sweat-drops escaped her forehead.

"Soo... what is this Quest of yours?" Eloeem asked.

[Twi]

Twi saw a group of Yoshis congregating by the beach.He picked up another loose flyer and looked at the picture. He looked up and saw what he thought was the same person. In one leap he went from his position to the group, his cape flapping in the wind. He stood next to the group and looked around.

"Which one of you is Leoshi?" HE stared with his glowing eyes at the other yoshis present. He stood still waiting for a reply.

[boomiester]

Specci trudged up the sandy hill, the wind was blowing in his face and he carried a heavy bag in his hand. As he neared the top of the hill, he could see the mast of a ship. Placing his bag down, he reached into the inside pocket of his jacket and pulled out a folded flier and carefully unfolded it. "Hopefully this is the place" he said to himself; glad that he was almost there, he picked the bag up and then continued to the top of the hill. After just stepping over the peak, he was able to see a group of other yoshies talking. He smiled and started heading down the hill toward the group.

[Leoshi]

Leoshi was immediatly intimidated by the one that announced his name. Not knowing if it where good or bad that this yoshi asked him in such a manner, he gave a simple reply. "...I am."
All of the while, Merier finally finished rigging the preparing the ship. He watched from atop the ship, leaning over the rails, waiting for orders to said off. "Wait a moment... what is this? Who is that one?"

[Wildfire the Dragon]

Jay sat happly on the edge of a cliff, looking around part of the island. He really hoping for a storm to come to see, since he liked the feel of wind and water. 'Man, I've been here for a while...' He quickly yawned. '...Maybe I should get back down, and get some rest.' He got up and jumped off the cliff, not bothering to open his wings until he got halfway down the cliff. He was soaring fine, that is, until some paper hit him in the face. "Hey! What the...?" He grabbed it off his face and looked while flying stationary. "Hmm...Evil? Sounds like a great time for some good competition. Oh, Leoshi. Haven't seen him for a while..."

He threw the paper and kept going. He saw a group nearby. 'There he is.' Jay kept flying, hoping to see Leoshi again.
