*in Toad Town* Kamek, clothed in black robes that covered his face, walked through Toad Town, looking at the Carnival workers that where here to set up the Fair. Stepping over a pile of cord. Kamek tripped over his extra-long robe and fell on his face.
*in Bowser's Keep* Kammy sighed. She had just given her report to King Bowser, and he was not happy. all her leads had been worthless. perhaps Kamek had had better luck.
*somewhere in the middle of the ocean* "Me' Lord," said an Toad attendant, "Bowser has come o closer to claiming your treasure."
"And the Plumber's?" asked a evil voice.
The attendant shivered slightly. "In the middle of DryDry Desert sir, completely lost." There was an low evil chuckle....

(I'll start in Toad Town..)
Gar, sitting on a nearby barrel and just watching the workers work, eager to spend his last 10 coins on something both pointless and fun, noticed Kamek fall over, not knowing who it was, and hopped off the barrel, dashing over and kneeling, "Hey, man, you OK?"

"Everyone seems to stumble and fall these days." That was how adventures started. This figure looked mysterious enough, and the dragon was an unknowing citizen just helping out, soon to be thrown into an adventure unforseen... I wanted to be in on the fun. Or maybe I'm just a psyco... I chuckled to myself, with one leg over the other, hands supporting me from behind as I observed from a box of Ferris Wheel parts. "It takes two to help someone up," I grinned at the dragon, and helped the strange figure stagger to his feet. There was something strange about the way he stood... it looked almost familiar.

Kamek was very grateful for the help of the two strangers. "Thank you. i'll have to shorten these robes." he offered them a coin each for their troubles.

(I'm, er, not a dragon in this RP. *points to his sign up*)
Gar nodded, and took the coin, "Hrm...say, you sound familiar, do I know you from anywhere?" He tried to peek under Kamek's hood, trying to see who was under there, he KNEW that voice from somwhere, but where?

(wha? oh. lol.)
Kamek smiled nervously. "No, i don't think i know you," he said. "I'm new here." He walked on, careful not to trip. i have got to be more careful, he thought. the fair is tomorrow. i better be right about this....
*in Bowser's Keep* Kammy was reading a book. The Little Merkoopa. it always calmed her nerves.
*Somewhere in the middle of the sea* "The Master wants Grog out there immiedatly," said a small Mushroomer. a larger, older Mushroomer grimaced. "Mush would be better. Grog is so slow. *Sigh* The Master's the master." he chuckled at his own joke. "i'll alert him." The two walked away from each other.

(I'm such a copy cat...and you know what? First person's better ) Toad town, early after noon... Another day in the life as my mom would used to say, I thought to myself on the beams inside an old warehouse that smelt of fish. Wonder what I should do next... maybe go out, find some trouble... steal a radio... listen to music... save someone... Yeah, I think I'll try to find someone to save. And on that thought, I rolled over on the beam and plummeted towards the ground, of which was a good forty foot drop, falling into panic. While falling, my panic had caused me to instinctively flutter to soften my jump and I landed softly on the ground. "I'm the one that's going to need saving..." I said to myself, brushing off and promptly leaving the area. As I smelled the fish, I had an urge to eat. Nothing in the world could live without food of sort... at least that's what I thought at the moment. The marketplace near me was full of fish, fruits, and veggies, but mostly fish, of which I was in the mood for. "If only I had a few coins... maybe I could afford a hot meal... or a cold one heated up... yeah..." and I started daydreaming about a giant roll of sushi, when the odor of a cheese burger came, shifting my thoughts to that of what a barbacue would help right about now. I couldn't take it anymore, and I found the fish monger, why go further? Call it dishonest to steal from an honest person, but it's better in the eyes of many than going out hunting for... dare I thought it, fresh meat. No one will notice... I said to myself, nervously approaching the stall, palms starting to sweat, calming myself with visions of giant roasted fish. Steal and run, brutal, or silently? Steal and run I'll get noticed... brutal will send a shock to everyone and I could get away... silently if I'm caught I'll have to resort to brutality. Or I could make a distraction...I licked my lips at the plan, and crawled to the stall next to the fish stall where I crouched low in the busy streets. My insides moved around as I felt two new body parts in the back of my mouth swell up, a disgusting feeling but I was used to it. With a quick blow, a liquid was released from the two glands which caught with the air as it hit the stall and started a small fire. I got back up and slowly walked back to the fish stall's other side and waited. Soon enough, the fire blarred and the nearby stall started smoking. It was a cabbage stall where the cabbage man was madly trying to shove his merchandise where the fire could not harm it... on the ground. The stall's fire slowly increased as the crowd formed a circle around it...and with a sly hand... I grabbed a fish, a trout and slowly backed off, hopping the fire was enough and left the busy plaza to go to the warehouse. Unfortunately, I wasn't exactly unseen. A policeman noticed I had a whole, uncut, unwrapped trout in my hands, and told me to freeze... "What are you doing with that trout young man?" He said, making me remember I was only fourteen. Likeable story, likeable story... "My mom sent me to get a fish for lunch and dinner tonight." I said trying to act like an eleven or twelve year old, raising the pitch of my voice to act younger. The cop looked at me, and after a pause said, "Alright, run along... but next time, ask for a bag." I nodded and ran off holding the trout by its tail, taking a turn into the warehouse. I held the fish in the air as fire lept from inside me and surrounded the fish with flames. Don't burn don't burn don't burn... I said to myself as the fish cooked to what vaguely looked like good and removed it. Could do with some salt, pepper, and maybe a little spice... but looks like this is the best I'm getting, I thought to myself, eating the tasteless cooked fish. A fruitless victory, next time, I get salt.

Gar looked back at the flaming cabbage stall suddenly, and raised an eyebrow, shrugging, he figured he needed some place to stay, "I need somewhere... Where no one's going to notice me.", he said to himself, strolling through the city, until he finally came across an old abandoned warehouse.
~Perfect.~, he thought to himself, pausing a moment, ~Heh...those flames... ...I miss being able to do that. Been cursed into this form... ...I need Starmen, maybe the Hi-Ougi can free me..~, he clutched at the pendant around his neck for a moment, then stepped into the abandoned building, to come face-to-face with what seemed like a Yoshi munching at a roasted fish.
"...Uh....bad timing?", he asked sheepishly.

(Hmmm...perhaps i'll try it your way....)
I jumped up at the sound of screams. Dear DAD, i hope i'm not in trouble. i looked back, relived to find out it was merely a fire. i sighed. this is no use i thought. i should find an inn and feed myself. come back tomorrow. i looked around, mystomach growling. i found a good looking restruant, and walked in.
"Good Morning," said the waitor that appeared by my side like magic. "May i take your robe?" oh boy, i thought, taking in the child's face. probably couldn't finish kindergarden.
"No thank you," i said. "i want a cup of green tea, and a package of spring rolls to go." i slipped him a coin. he returned quickly, package in hand. "Thank you." i turned and walked off, ignoring his, "no, thank you!" i found a nice grassy area and sat down. i opened my tea cup slurrped. Hmmm... Nice and Hot. The Spring rolls where as good. leaving 2 rolls and a half for later, i got up and decided to find my way out of this pathetic excuse for a Town.

"Eheheh... the timing's only bad if you think it is," I muttered as a human like figure entered, trying to void my voice of any emotion. "I won't be able to finish all this fish if you want some... but I don't have any salt, so it's rather tasteless..." I said, maintaining the fish in my lap. Taking the issue from his point of view, he had just spotted a yoshi in an abandoned warehouse cooking fish, and being offered a fish that who knows where it was. Last thing I expect is someone wanting fish that's touched a grubby yoshi in an old warehouse, but hey, if he wants some... fine.

(OK, for the last time, I'm not a dragon....yet. XD)
Gar shook his head, raising his hands, "No, it's OK... I don't like fish at all.", he looked around the warehouse, and took a seat at the corner of a wall, "...No place to sleep either, huh?", he sighed, and then tilted his head, "Wait a moment... ...How'd you cook that fish?"

Kamek sighed. He was getting no where. One last day until the fair, he thought, and then i'll know if this was worth anything. He went on his way to Bowser's Keep.
*In Bowser's Keep* Bowser was getting restless. Kammy had been thrown to the wall 5 times to many. Kamek had better find another Handelic Item, Kammy thought as Bowser roared for her.

The voice did sound familiar... I wondered where I had heard it before. I wanted to follow this guy. I crept behind a box as I stuffed the coin in my Tennis racquet's pouch. I slowly followed behind the cloaked figure as he sighed, and then hurried off to an unknown destination. I had to find out what he was up to.

Teo gasped inwardly as the person noticed he had cooked his fish without anything. Teo kept his face straight and tried to take up a likeable story on the spot. "... you're a suspicious one aren't you? You'd be suprised what is left around in old ware houses. Just the other day, I found a crate of..." Think Teo think... "Well come to think of it, I found several crates... some with rope, some with spare parts, some with tools and... well, lots of stuff." Mom always said I was a horrible lier. I wonder how well this story's going to go over. Teo started finishing his fish, careful not to let a bone slide, eating with the hands he had cleaned only a day earlier. "What else do you want to ask about? I'm not the kind to ask how everything works," Teo said, directing his comment towards the person.

NoMingo ran through fields of his island creating brush fires as he went along. he loved fire. --- it was getting dark out so NoMingo returned to his home. NoMingo was special - he wasn't quite classifyed as a pokémon...yet. his parents (2 charizards) spoke to him in the "char" language of one day leaving the island. NoMingo knew that he had to leave some day... "one more year!" he pleeded. his parents seemed to aggree. NoMingo settled down for bed that night, knowing that he wasn't well prepaired for his future to come.

Gar raised an eyebrow, and leaned against a nearby wall, smirking, "I doubt there are matches in here, I would have seen the used ones, you can't just cook a fish with matches... ....You can't set a marketplace stall on fire with matches either. You did that, didn'tchya?... ...Heh, just one more question...", he looked down at his pendant quickly, then looked back up, "...Know where I can find a Starman?"

Teo put his face in a pout form. "People these days don't believe the things they used to. No I didn't use a match... and now that I think of it, it would have been more realistic to say I stole a cooked fish as I didn't leave any ashes. And no, I don't know where to find a starman, I'm not quite sure what one is either... sorry. Sure you don't want some fish?"

Gar shrugged, "Hey, it's OK. You've got your reasons, and your secrets, and I'll keep 'em, just tell me how you cooked that fish, I'm really curious now.", he shrugged, "And it's OK if you dunno what a Starman is... I just need three, they're important to me... And I'm sorry, I really don't like fish."

"Ah, but I believe I can keep my secrets until the time shows right," I said, a grin on my face. "Anyhow, I'm done with the fish and I will most likely need to find a way to bathe... even that rat in the corner agrees, and that says something." Then I realized that there was actually a rat in a corner, seeing as my comment was completely random and out of the blue, the rat would have probably saved me from being considered looney. "Well, I'll see you around mister... what's your name again?"

Gar chuckled, "My name's Gar...", and he smirked, stepping in front of the doorway, "And...I don't think I'll let you leave until you tell me just how you managed that. Do I smell dragon-fire in the air?", he folded his arms, not willing to let Teo pass, he had a Fire Flower in his pocket, but was saving that for when he absolutely needed it, he didn't want to HAVE to beat up a Yoshi... "And while I'm at it, what's YOUR name?"
