*note* I got the idea for this Rp from a few of my favorite series of games that may look familiar. The main (and most of the story will come from it) idea comes from the game entitled Golden Sun. I am basically trying to remake the story, but with different characters.
*note 2* for all you who never played golden sun before. source of all magic in the world is a force called psynergy.it is like a psychic power that powers magic.

PROLOGUE:

Before the beginning of time, there was nothingness....The only thisng in existance were the four elements. Earth.Wind. Fire. and Water. they say that the universe began when these four elements fused, resulting in an explosion that created the universe. In the process of the Elements fusing, the sgaes stone was born. the sages stone was the source of all Alchemy.It had the power to turn any metal into gold and it granted the owner immortality.Over the Millenia, countless civilizations sought out the legenday sage's stone, but none ever found it.

STORY:

Drake was lying on the grass off of the river bank with his eyes closed as he usually did on nice days. Th sun was shining bright on his face as he lay there without a care.
He sat bolt upright all of a sudden. Something wasnt right....He could sense it...something was amis..but what?The other thing that he couldnt understand was that he shouldnt be feeling this feeling...his psynergy skills had not developed yet...he was only 14 years old......
At that moment he could hear people running down the way...he heard screams and shouts.....
"RUN! EVERYONE RUN, THE MT. ALEPH BOULDER IS FALLING!", he heard one man scream.
He jumped to his feet as he grew with fear and panic....the Mt. Aleph boulder was massive..it would destroy vale.....but what could he do? he was just a boy....at that moment he saw two oddly dressed people, a man and a woman, walking along as if nothing was happening.Drake decided to follow them to see why they were acting so calmly....if they had something to do with the boulder falling, then he could report them to the elders...He was also secretly sure that the Elders could take care of the boulder..they had psynergy in their favor.
"he wouldnt talk...we must find someway to persuade him to help us....", the woman said.
"patience Menardi, patience...we cannot expect Kraden to accept our offer."the man replied surely.
"by mars' light Saturos we are running out of time!", Menardi exclaimed in an angry voice."he is a senile old fool! Let me persuade him, I will get it done the right way!"
"No Menardi, we cannot afford to lose him...he is the key to Sol Sanctum!", Saturos said with a hard glare.
"Yes Saturos but-",Menardi started, but whipped around and stared at the bush where drake was hiding.
The bush caught on fire as Drake fell back with a yelp!
"so what do we have here? an eavesdropper?",menardi said with a smirk.
Saturos grabbed drake by the collar and looked him in the eye.
"You will forget all that nyou have heard young one!..or better yet i have a better idea.. I'll make you forget!",Saturos spat in drakes face as he hit him on the back of the head knocking him unconsious.
"you always get all the fun...",Menardi said with a pout.
"enough chat..lets get moving, the boulder will fall any minute!", Saturos said as he ran off, with Menardi in his wake....
Four Years Later....
"Ah Drake I see you have been studying psynergy eh?", Kraden said with a smile as drake was attempting to light a stump on fire with his mind.
"yes sir I think i have ot it figured out",said drake as the stump burst into flames.
"yes yes well ill need you to quit that..while we have out lesson inside with the others!", said kraden as he fanned away smoke from his face.
With a slight groan, drake put out the fire and folowed Kraden into his house.
"now then...the others should be here soon, then we can get started on the lesson!",Kraden exclaimed as he sat ndown at the front of the room.

*note 3* The players who start this, meet by arriving at the house in question to have their lesson on Alchemy and then the story begins!
