I looked down over the edge into the darkness, not really getting nervous about the height. I mean, I was nervous about slipping, but I wasn't afraid of heights. After comparing the two choices for a camp, I trotted back to Professor Zwite.
"Yeah, I think we'll be safer up here. Should we take watches?" I asked. I had figured that Mecha Red guy should've been closer, but Zwite probably knew the way better than anyone. I was lucky to travel with him, or else I would've never found my way over here.

Zwite: Yeah, we probably should. You take the first watch. *goes to sleep*
Yoshee: But...er well I'm not tired anyway.
It isn't long before you see a shadowy form in the darkness. It appears to be Yoshi shaped.

I wondered if I should call out to the figure. It definitely looked like a Yoshi. I thought about if I'd regret it later. What if it wasn't a Yoshi...? I also pondered whether I should wake Professor Zwite.
"Hey! You there!" I called out to the figure. I had my Tennis racquet on the ground beside me, out of sight but not out of reach.

The figure suddenly looked toward you.  : Ahhh, you must be Yoshee, one of the five that I sent for! I'm MechaRedYoshi. By now you could see the figure was a yoshi and the reason why he called himself MechaRedYoshi was pretty clear as well. His left half was mechanical while his right half was a normal red yoshi. Five minutes later..... Zwite: What do you think of the threat that Vinseng poses? MechaRedYoshi: It's a significant one alright. Yoshee: Who's this Vinseng character? MechaRedYoshi: He used to be my apprentice. He was just a normal purple and gray yoshi until an accident mutated him into a monster. He has a wide variety of evil henchmen at his side like the Yoshi eating Vesnor, the all consuming white mist, and the invincible Black Tundra, to name a few. But, even the most powerful of his army isn't as powerful as he is. He also has seven generals as well. Well, anyway, I'm going to bed. Zwite: I'm all rested now, so do you want me to take over the watch? |

"No, I'll stay up a while longer," I told Zwite. I wanted to brood on what Mecha had just told me, and I couldn't hardly sleep nowadays anyway.
Vinseng sounded awfully powerful. Why had I not heard about him until now? I turned the thoughts over and over in my mind as I stared out into the darkness.
About a half hour later, there was one question nagging at me the most. Maybe other ideas I'd had would fit into place... "Hey, Mecha..." I turned to see if he was asleep or not.

"How did you get all those machine parts on you? You don't have to answer if you don't want to," I asked. Was it the same accident, or were they two unrelated events? People would handle power differently...

After you asked that, I only smiled.
"I was planning on telling you eventually anyway. Especially since I survived only because I had eaten a red watermelon 30 minutes before it happened." I said, getting comfortable. "It was about a year ago when it happened. I was swimming with Zegyo when I noticed a round black spot on the water. Zegyo went to investigate it, but as soon as he touched it..." I shudder in horror a bit. "It creeped all over his body and started dissolving it. I was so scared I couldn't move, even when the black spot started moving towards me. I looked back and saw I was too far away from the shore to get back in time, and by the time I looked toward it again, it had reached me. It started to crawl over the left half of my body, and when I was half covered I finally snapped out of the shock. I opened my mouth to scream, but because of the red watermelon I had eaten 30 minutes before, flames shot out of my mouth. To my astonishment, the flames caught it on fire burning it up and killing it. I have no idea how I got to shore, but I did. The next thing I knew, I woke up in a hospital and half my body was mechanical." After all that, I yawn. "Good night." I say, going to sleep.

I made myself a little more comfortable and sat down by the fire during his narrative, and dropped back into thought when his tale was finished. This new information made my head hurt a little when I tried to think about it. Maybe I should leave it for the morning.
I turned my head away from the fire so I could gaze back into the darkness. My mind sort of settled itself down and rested, even though my eyes were still alert to anything that moved. I huddled up against my knees and hardly moved again all night.

Neither did anything else. By the time anything happened, it was morning.
I yawned. I was still a little bit sleepy. It was also finally morning.
"I think I know a way across." Zwite stated.He pulled out a strange looking contraption. "Behold! My portable bridge!"
30 minutes later...
"Now that we're all across,w-" I stopped, spotting something on the horizon.

I think its safe to say this RP is long dead, considering that its almost been a year since the last post in it.
