"I hope we don't meet up with any-" I stopped suddenly as a beautiful melody started up. "Shh, be quiet." I motioned to the two others to come over to the bushes. "I knew the fairy tribe was close by. They're rarely if ever seen, and if the singing is any indication, they must be nearby. They're also pretty timid, which is why we must remain quiet if we wish to see them." I explained as I searched for the source of the sound.

I couldn't help but snort. Fairies? Timid? Maybe they were different on the mainland, thought I seriously had trouble imagining a timid fairy.
I decided to play along anyway. Whatever. I hunkered down next to Mecha and kept my mouth shut for once.

The fairies were just as I had remembered them. Tiny and cute winged humans. "Hello little fellas." I said softly. I knew they were only timid if they couldn't see what was making the noise, but once they saw it wasn't a demon, they lost their timidness.
"Hi, Mecha." one of them squeaked.
"So, what's the news?" I asked him. The fairies had a network set up in the woods and generally knew about everything that went on.
"Well, Tirvite City is having their annual festival tomorrow, other than that, nothing much.
Tirvite City, I had almost forgotten about that city. It was closest to us, so I bid the fairies farewell and headed for Tirvite City, knowing the others would follow.

I turned to shrug at Red. I had no idea this city existed, either.
I swallowed my annoyance at Mecha's actions. Did he think we'd just follow him anywhere? Who had died and declared him leader? I had thought about hanging back just to see if he'd wait, but then my curiosity got the better of me and I hurried after him.

Maybe I should have asked Red and Yoshee if they wanted to go this way. I thought to myself while walking. I could sense Yoshee was annoyed at me, and personally, I didn't blame her, so, I decided an apology was in order.
"Sorry about not consulting with you about traveling to Tirvite City." I turned around and sincerly told them, walking backwards. "I guess the thought of that festival they have every year tossed the thought of doing that out of my mind." I explained, thinking of all the food and rides they were going to have there, as well as the race that is the main part of the festival.

I wasn't going to be distracted by a festival. "Kind of late now," Was all I said. I was still a bit jumpy after that demon, but a little deeper down I was glad for the apology. I just wasn't going to show my gratitude to Mecha right now.
...What about the island? I found my thoughts wandering to our now-submerged home and the other events of today. Why are we going to this festival when there's demons like that other one on the loose? Why is Mecha sidetracking us while that jerk takes over the world?

"Apology accepted." said red. "We still haven't reached a city yet though, and I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty tired and hungry. Also, if I'm not mistaken, darkness is covering the lands as we speak. Maybe we should get our priorities straight and set off to that town. I'm sure that dark tower isn't the only one standing...In the dream I had the night before the island flooded, there were 3 towers and one castle where bowser resided. In each tower or miniature castle, there was a jewel, three in total. In order to pull down Bowser's defense enough to even attempt to fight him, the heroes of my dream had to possess all three jewels." Red paused for a moment, looked at the dark dot on the horizon, and yawned. "I suggest we reach that town, have a good night's sleep, and plan our adventure to that castle..or whatever it is. It wouldn't hurt to stock up on some supplies so we could camp and not have to rely on the town."

I knew in my heart that Red was right. "You're right, Red. I guess we can't let ourselves get distracted by a festival." I looked a little downcast at this, but immediantly cheered up as I saw the lights of the city.

I wasn't particularly fond of the idea of staying in that town for the night, but again I didn't voice my opinion.
It was lucky Red had remembered that much of his dream- even if it was just a dream, it was all we had to go by, and so far it seemed right enough. Why else would a demon be waltzing through a forest of fairies?

Red slowly reaches the town. It was pretty late in the evening, and not many were out on the streets. The town was small, and red went to search for an Inn where the group might be able to take a rest for the night and plan out where to go next.

I sighed as we reached the inn. There were so many fond memories here for me. This was my hometown after all. I had been born in this very same inn on the day of the festival.
"Well, let's go inside and get us a room." I said with a sigh of longing for the old days in my voice.

Mecha looked like he recognized this place. He kept sighing, so it was a bit obvious, really.
"I need a room to myself," I told Mecha. Being the only girl sometimes came in handy. I didn't have any money with me- I'd have to pay Mecha back somehow later.

"Good idea. Me too." I sighed. "I needv to think over a few things." It had been in this very same inn that I had met my girlfriend, Berry. I was glad for the special rate as I paid for our rooms.

(I'm kinda late aren't I)
Log 1: Arrival at Yoshi's Island.
Sand.... I see nothing but sand... "SAND!?" I screamed in a muffled voice. I pulled my head up out of the sand. I looked around at first but decided to look around. " Where the heck can I be?" Then I saw small Yoshi huts. "Uh oh, I'm at Yoshi's Island!!" I looked around to see if there was any hungry Yoshis. How did I get here, I thought, the last thing I did was... I hit my head. "I can't remember..." I said out loud. I thought no doubt the scrawny little dinosaurs would try to eat me, so I check my back pack for any weapons. Unfortunately, There was nothing but a 2 inch piece of bread, and a water bottle.
I was feeling so tired that day. When I saw an Inn, I almost dashed to it. I had almost forgot that no sleep is better than being lunch. Maybe the Yoshis WON'T eat me, I thought. I was only thinking that by how tired I was. I went behind a rock away from the nearest Yoshi huts and slept. Maybe a good night's sleep would get my memory back.

I headed up to my room after Mecha payed with a mere "good-night" to the other two. The quiet hung in the room like a veil, so I felt as if I had to tiptoe to keep the peace. I pulled off my bow, shoes, and socks, and laid them softly beside my bed. A random glance out a window caught a strangely-clad figure slipping behind a rock, but when I walked to the window for a better look, it was gone. Maybe it had just been my imagination.

Log 2: The Dream.
That night, I had a dream about a dark shadow taking over the whole Mushroom Kingdom. There was fire, destroyed houses, and an army of more shadows. Then a short shadow started beating up the bigger one, scaring the other shadows away, then it turned out to be a protector of some-sort. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw.

I also went up to my room. There, I decided to go straight to bed. Using spells takes a lot out of you.
I had the weirdest dream. In it, there was a wedding, which wasn't all that weird, but the weird thing was tjhat I was getting married to Yoshee.
I woke up in the middle of the night, and thought about my dream. I'll admit I felt an urge to be with her, but could I possibly be falling in love with Yoshee? This was getting more confusing all the time.
