Ok so this is my attempt to get an rp started.

lets see. well first why are we saving the future? At least from what?
In this scenario the world is almost all ocean and most all terrestrial life forms are extinct but there are some scared around on the few dry patches of land left. The starburst group are the ones responsible, a group of aquatic somethings since no one rally knows what they are as no one has seen them.

There newest creation who named herself starburst after the group that created her, she is amphibious as she can live in water or land. She has joined some of the resistance to stop the Starburst group.

So the story starts as Starburst it sent back in time tanks to a raid on a lab back to the present to stop the group which is responsible for global warming and is making certain that water will rise everywhere.

so what we need are the good guys and bad guys.
bad guys can also be disguised as good guys but all the badies have to have a starburst symbol on them somewhere. It it required for being in the group.

You know thats a very good question thank you for brining it up.

Yes that would be most helpful. Lets start with the basic info and a short description of why they are what they are.

Name Starburst
Gender: Female
Species: Gentic creation from Kara's DNA and other aquatic creatures
Why: While she was created as one of the perfect life forms she was tiered of being controlled by them and made manny friends among the dry landers. so long story short she joined with the drylanders to stop starburst but there to strong in the future with most of the planet water

Gender: Male
Species: Genetically engineered dolphin.
Why: He was genetically altered by human scientists into a human-like dolphin. As he can't survive for long outside water, he decided to raise the water levels so that he could conquer the world with the help of his marine buddies. He is also the leader of the starburst group.

Gender: Female.
Race: Pianta. She's brown and wears a blue-green grass skirt/dress.
Why: As a strictly terrestrial sort of thing, Lora of course doesn't want to drown.

Why: Red has been practicing water elemental magics. He's willing enough to use the power of water for good, and not evil. He's still a novice while working with water, so a little brushing up wouldn't hurt. This opportunity is perfect, if not too perfect for Red to get used to water.

...and although it would be interesting to see how Teo would fare underwater, I'm going to use a new character.

Gender: Male
Species: Human
Personallity and backround: Kish isn't his real name, he forgot it. All he remembers is being washed up on the beach one day and being raised by a primitive band of Yoshies. He cannot remember anything before that. The Yoshies taught him to hunt, recognize and use plants, fish, and wrestle (where he was at a dissadvantage). Since the Yoshi tribe did not speak English, only an early yoshi dialect, he can only speak a little English or with other yoshies who remember the language. What is extremely suspicious about him is that he is odorless, and makes no sound when he moves, even through dead leaves. He's also a very good liar, enough to stump someone's "gut feeling", though not enough to fool a lie detector.

Good or bad? Only the future knows.

Gender: Male
Species: a partially failed genetic experiment from Renard's genes and other mixed DNA samples.
Background: Liam is, in most ways, another creation of the Starburst group, if you didn't count the fact that instead of gills, he had lungs. With no other choice, they abandoned him on the coastline at a very young age. So naturally, he hates anything that has to do with the Starbursts and their plan to flood the whole world.
Personality: Friendly towards people who are against the Starbursts or neutral, and very hostile towards anybody he thinks is a part of their plan to drown every living being in the world without gills.

Species: Water-rat (Mutation)
Why: Of course, a rat is an excellent creature to run an experiment on. After "tainting" him with gills, the scientists allowed the rat freedom. However, the imprint of a new world stuck within his mind, forming his eternal desire to aid the revolution. He is, because of this, on the side of the Starbursts.[/size]
