Secret Santa: Contention's Gifty!

Yo, yo, folks! Pawy is returning for a post. Yay! As you can see, Contention was the person I mentioned I was happy to get and wanted to get to know better. ^_^ So, without further ado...



Sorry he looks orange. My Gradient shading attempt sort of made some colors odd.

Nice job with the tapered lineart! Did you use the apply pressure tool with the pen in Photoshop? The shading looks great, too! Contention will love it.

Heh, heh. ^^; Thank you! Shading is always my favorite part in a picture.

I actually do all my lineart in Flash. LEVEL UP ! ! Depending on what sort of smoothing level I use, I get lots of differences in the lineart, hence the cool tapered affect. ^^

This is very good work! This is the first pic I have seen from you. A great pic, by all aspects of the word. The shading done here is the most eye catching. I don't know contention too well, but I'm sure he'll like it

My Gosh Pawy! I have no idea where to start with how much I love this piece. You did a great job on Contention, wow... I don't know what to say besides dropping my jaw. You deserve a lot for this, even though it's a Christmas Exchange I'm going to do something for you. I mean, look at it; this is beyond wonder. I love how you colored his eye and drew his body, the shading and the outlining looks stupendous. Also, I love the way you made his tail, to describe it's greatness I fall short of words. It's adorable, enough so that if it were real I'd probally never let it go. You certainly have a way with making this so sweetly. You have a lot of skill in you Pawy, and if I could on my knees thank you I most definetly would.

That stance you put him in is outstanding, and the way his jaw and body look is great. You did a great job at following what he was, no not just that, you gave me inspiration as what to base it as in the future Ooooh *hugs tightly* Thanks so much!!! As I said, this means so much, and you better expect something back for this missy XD! Somebody has a great imagination to do something this great, I seriously can not staring back in those red/purple glowing eyes, *drools*. I'm definetly not deserving of something drawn so proffesionaly as this. I hope you have a great Christmas today Pawy, you more than deserve it! This picture was pretty fun to do, especially considering Contention is dragon-ish. I used to draw dragons a lot -- not so much anymore. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! ! Feels good to draw something similar to what I drew back in the olden days. Anywho, you are more than welcome for the picture. ^_^
