Depends on the function. For most functions, I use Firefox. The only time I use IE is during Windows Update or during other situations in which the website only allows IE to be used.

Firefox.
It has TABS. They're magical, and make things much more convienant than having 10 IE windows open.

Firefox, as it seems with many:
It always seems that when one starts out online the first browser to come to mind is that of IE. Of course, only because it's the standard setting. Yet all together, over time, the flaws that are in its layout or more than obvious. After the first few virus and spyware attacks it doesn't take any long to notice what illusion that have lived through. Still though, after a walking trudge through the rancid take of such host, the majority seem to find others that suit them better. Of course, if you had a service like AOL and of the such, there were likely harder times there. Yet, those belong in the scheme of what dial-up had to offer. Back in youthful years, many here likely were pertained to that setting, as it was that which existed so harshly. Those hours of connecting, sitting and wondering, hoping for the next page to load. Their browsers offered the worst kind of troubles, as they were popular many diffrent "diseases" were included within them.
Yet, Firefox is one of those programs, that while it may be used highly, it has a rarity of failures amongst it. It undergos upgrades and fixtures to lighten the mood about it, allowing those who use it to feel safer in their setting. Something that also aquires it to find more of an audience. For, if it can work with diffrent speeds as well as be very clean from trouble, then the public eye will find it with speed. However, nothing goes with a bit of a downside, one of those shadowed alley-ways. Those belong here, at times there can be errors when trying to view videos. Usually Flash has mounted to be one of FireFox's annoyances, and it is quickly kept away from the browsers windows at all time. Thus, causing the host to open an IE browser to fix, only to be bombarded with Spyware. Besides that majority, the browser has a lot to offer with it's updates and "tabs" that actually come without the "Trojans".
Other Browsers that are mentioned are indeed something special, how they are made is to fit the consumer that introduces them. Of course, we all see something different in our vision of sight. What it is you go for, is of course up to you; yet it's nothing more than a browser. So many of them though seem so out of focus these days. Firefox is a safe one, Opera has been to; there are many to choose from and definetly one to suit you.

IE has lots of viruses. >_>;; Mozilla has some too, but not nearly as much. Plus, like Pawy said, TABS FTW.

Internet Explorer.
I haven't encountered any problems with it as of yet, and it's convenient enough for my needs, so yay. I used to have AOL until about a year ago. That was... not fun at all.

I used to be an IE guy. Then Toshi said about Mozzila Firefox and I thought i'd give it a try. At first i didn't think much of it, just the same. Then opening my DA page it was done in the click of my fingers, which was kinda awesome. Now i use Firefox, IE for the maple story website ^^;

Firefox. Because it's MY computer. Plus I don't want IE downloading any ActiveX viruses and trojans onto my computer and running them without my consent.
It's purely a security thing, but Firefox runs so far faster than IE too, and fully supports the CSS standard and renders pages correctly, which IE doesn't, so performance too.
