Yeah, it does. I do have a program, though, called Ad-Aware which helps a lot in filtering viruses and other bad things.

I use FF for most things. It's pretty easy and I have had better protection with it. My Virus scanner hasn't had to stop any from getting to me like it has had to when I use IE.
I do you IE sometimes, but that's just when I want an easier time deleting the history of where I have been.. XD

The only problem I've ever had with firefox is the fact that I've had to download a few plugins just to view things that I could view on IE without any downloading. But it still seems much smoother and can handle more than IE can, at least on my computer.

I use FireFox, it doesn't crash on me as much as IE does, and though it's a jerk with imbedded media and flash, it's a lot more convienent for me than IE... ...And you can change what it looks like so Boomeister's statement can be voided. Hehe.

I use whatever's at hand... and also for the fact that runescape doesn't work well on Mozilla, it leaces me with EXPLORA'! And now I'm ready to get pounded by Lazo, PinkFloyd, Strangie, and the whole crew of mods saying that explorer is bugged, mozilla is better, and so on

..I always never used the whole 'bugged' thing as some sort of explanation for why I switched to FireFox. I never actually had problems with viruses or bugs on IE, but it was starting to get a tad stressful keeping track of 10+ seperate windows.
Just thought of a questiooon! Has anyone had problems with viruses or bugs before that resolved/changed when switching to another browser?

IE, because of the all around feel to it. (Ok, so I don't know how to make a good enough comment on the subject)

Actually, that's a good question; one reason for many moves from IE to other forms of browsers is usually done by the move of some type of Trojan. With all the downloads that break into the frame of that program, many probelms arise out of the "ashes". Due to this, things occur that may make one change their mind of the system that suited them once before. It seems that the majority of people usually start with something such as IE or an AOL Browser. One bad thing about this is the fact that many use it, due to this, there are also a majority of code writers working to make things more than just a hassle for yourself. This alone can lead to the destruction of your browser and sends you running to who knows where. Sadly, for some reason, it comes only by how you search through things on IE. Usually, if the user sticks to following main pages they won't run into an issue. Many populated servers shy away from many probelms, for their security nets are usually huge and constantly on the swing. However, if one strays away from the safety of such control, then they may find themselves opening doors to strangers they never quite wanted in the first place. Yet, this all depends on how you use and navigate through the files that you search for. There is a diffrence between doing it a smart way and just right out jumping into a huge black hole, which we all do, that's very hard to deny at a younger age.
A lot of sections for viruses spring up in the awe-inspiring introduction of "Downloadable tabs". This alone causes one huge issue on any computer. Once these little children are diagnosed into your system, they love to reproduce in piles of Spy-Ware. It seems as well that these rascals eventually dig their claws into serious matters such as the release of a disorder into your software. Once this is done, you can try to reload, do anything for that matter; some are even gracious enough to give links to files in order to rid of such nasties. However, even with the introduction of allies, your programs may still lay on the fritz. Many learn from this one mistake and shift to another setting by another browser. It's not that IE has anything wrong with it, in fact it at times can be a very useful browser. It understands simple things such as Flash and doesn't allow itself to be torn apart by opening little movies here and there. Yet, it's also been around the longest and holds the greatest connections to most of the companies around. Because of this, it gains while the others are still a bit behind in the making. It seems that everything has it's own little charm that makes it shine diffrently from the others that circle it.
Browsers such as Firefox hold certain values merely by their gestures that they have added. As Pawy once said, "Those nifty tabs". This way, when you open a window it merely moves aside your other one in a tab like form. Allowing you to flip through them as in that of some book that one might read out and around. This is all up to yourself, and you could do anything that you choose to with it. As well as the smaller amount of viruses that plague its walls, with the notice that it doesn't take the subject of Flash to well.

I use Internet Explorer! I've been using it forever, probably because the school systems use it. Thanks to school, I've grown to love it.
