Yeah, what method do you use? I'll usually use the quick reply, because my internet is really slow, and I don't want to wait all day to load an extra page. And by standard reply, I mean the reply that takes you to the other page to reply, where it has all the smileys, the tags, the colors, the spell check, and all that stuff. I just called it the standard reply because I can't think of any other name for it.

Oh lovely question and that's all together a toughy of the sorts for many. For a lot of times and with others it seems to be one of those, "Whatever is the most convienet with things". However the format for the two are really completly diffrent in ways. It depends really on how much you write and how you are planning to adress yourself and of the likes. That's what makes it be, and you have to usually chose a choice between these two. It's not to difficult to come to some ground, yet it depends upon what you think is going to be the best way to run. A lot of people usually take the quick route, merely because as the name implies. It gives you the advantage to get in and out without having to load another screen. As well, the last post is right above your eyes. Although, even when in the full area it's not to hard to really see the last post. All that requires is to scroll down, unless of course you happen to take a big dislike to small text. That might be a downfall in that area by particular and of the sorts. Both ways though offer something diffrent in how you give off yourself and the style that you choose to write for that post. Most of the diffrence is seperated in the two styles of knowledge, "Do you know your Code for this forum, or not?"
What that means is, do you know how to make things bold without having to be in the long reply section to click the button. That merely states in question as if you will be able to properly give off something special to the post without having to come onto the larger screen. However, if lost the larger screen does prove more than helpful with it's tips on how things work and what you can do. Of course, everything you want is up to you. Yet, the larger usually lets you customize more. Yet in boards like this and of the likes there is really no true reason to go out and make the thread something all "buttered-up". As it usually sticks just perfectly and leaves it be. You might see those little special smilies next to post at times, and those can really only be adapted by the screen in the large reply scenario. That's totally left on what anyone really wants to go at as well there though. Oh, and if at all pleasurable, if you go to the larger section you can preview your post before you give it off; as well as check out the spell checker for any errors.
The quick reply is something that really gives lots of burdens off the shoulders. When you don't feel like clicking that two centimeter away button for "Standard Reply", you always have the choice of leaving something in the little box below. As well, it gives the sense that you're writing a lot even when you're not. The big reply gives you more room and seems to take longer to fill up. Pretty much on the ease of things though, if anyone is going for that simplistic outlook of things it would be to take the quick reply steps. They don't cause any troubles and it's pretty normal to do that instead of going the full way. Of course, everyone has things diffrently to do; choosing between them is hard, for they are both used on occasions. Mostly though, as likely with many it goes into the quick reply scenario.

The only time I use the standard reply is when I quote somebody, or I just need to double check on codes and such. Other than that, quick reply fo' lyfe!!

I only use standard when I'm writing large posts, but that's pretty rare. So Quick Reply for me.

I typically use quick reply. I only use standard when I link things and when I quote someone.

I always use standard, unless Proboards is acting up and I might get kicked off next time I load the page.

I generally use quick reply (unless I'm quoting somebody) because it's too much of a pain on my internet connection to use standard reply all the time.

Thats a tough question for many of us, i feel like using standart reply all the time. I find myself using quick reply 3 times a week, maybe 4, becouse i usually give this place time. Its the time you can give or its the internet connection. I dont know if i use standart for a good internet connection, or just becouse i want to give this place time. If im in a hurry, i usually use the quick reply (which is hardly never). I usually give a reply the size of half paragraph, becouse i believe that this place is full of people who take time in reading them. Some people who dont can read my reply becouse its not too big, and its not ''spam'' eather. I usually dont go to the games section anymore. With my other account, i was always in a hurry to write stuff, so i usually was in the games section, and the art section. Now i believe my place in this forum is yoshis cafe/general gaming/general multimedia/role playing/art boards, but mostly on yoshis cafe!
Im voting for standart.
