Me and my sister got into an argument and I said that I bet most people on YC will like Daffy better than Bugs Bunny. I want to see who's right. >>
I choose Daffy. ;p

Bugs! He always had it under control, man, always had a plan... While Daffy was always angry and doing dumb things. I just liked Bugs better because he usually came out on top.

the true answer is Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner~ Evidently moot wins moot always wins
But anyway, I think I'd have to say Bugs, since he always seemed to be on top of the situation, regardless of anything.. Daffy can definitely be funny, but yeah, I think Bugs

This is a really tough question to actually form there Gem; especially with everyones view on the whole cartoon world. In actuality, it's strange how the two of them work together; both in ways, enemies of each other. Of course, they aren't true blood foes; merely counterparts that deny each others character. For as Bugs is more of a Devious Soul, Daffy is that of a envious type; yet, it wasn't always that way. The earlier stages of Daffy were actually quite soulful and full of humorous interaction from the beloved duck. Through time though, he was slowly swept away and a new essence entered the soul of this character. That lisp he contained became a part of his personality, just like the flair that he always had against him. Out of many in the group, he was one of the most popular. Compared to Bugs though, he was never really given any fair placement; his shortcomings were found in his touch with children. People had found the spirit of Bugs to be more playful, and easily entertained in front of children. That, and to Warner Brothers, Bugs Bunny was like their Mickey Mouse; the first creation to appeal to children. Therefore, it made more of an impact than any of their other showcase items. Actually, they had developed and turned the wheel for quite awhile; until of course, they boiled the cameos down into a few. Bugs was to stick, as well as a few others; and it would be this that would place them in their own tides, instead of being flocked as just another production agency. We will never forget these cartoons placement in our minds either, for they have made more than what can be said as a hefty impact. In ways, they are a part of our lives; figures that have become stapled into our characteristics.
Daffy has always had a little more to him, not only because of the unfair treatment to his type; but his "Vain" behaviour was actually very adorable for what he was. It fitted his features just perfectly, especially the way they had made him look. He was not overdone, and never through his adventures did he ever wear one mark of clothing. You can't mark against that either, since realistically, Aves have nothing to show down there. His smooth like appearance was appealing to the eye, and it really didn't delude from what he had to do. It seemed as if he had been plastered in a vat of oiled, shined to the trim of every single dancing feather. Fashionably, he really made his position known for that industry; his simplistic instincts really kept the cameras rolling. In a matter of speaking, he was the total oppisite of Bugs to begin with; instead of being easily rolled and plied, Daffy was more of the "fighting" type. Meaning that, if something didn't go his way; he wouldn't make his revenge secretly known. It was a more, up front type of stage that really showed him off. As well, no one can forget those classic moments in which his beak was shot completly to the back of his head. Those lines, such as "This Means War" will be something that sticks itself into our craniums, even in those final hours. These antics amused us, and really gave us something to look forward to every now and then. While it may not be an omega of relaxation as of now, it was an outlet for our behaviour back then. Giving us something to relate to, and spend moments with.
Now, in our growing ages; Cartoons have lost that magical luster. They no longer cringe to the type of humanity that remained unexplainable. They seem to put their nails into something much more brittle, like the frame of society. Such can cause conflict, and causes troubles in bringing back what we once used to love. Yet, we can not let those days pass us by; nor can we ignore Daffy's sexy body. It's just so vivid, come on now; it's like the whole Falco and Fox thing. There is just something about birds that make them "hotter" than any of the other creatures that are alive. Of course, only when drawn anthro like, for real birds are far to dumb and ignorant to have any type of passion toward them. Unless you like to watch them fly around; yet when they can throw witty comments and make up stories, that's when you have hit your bucket of gold.

Daffy. He always gets screwed over, and I feel bad for him. Bugs never made me laugh. He was always invincible, it annoyed me.

Hahaha, Bugs rocks. Just because he's cool like that.
But Daffy wins for having that kick-butt laugh.

And I say BUGS!! He's such a classic, so's Daffy, but I know Bugs better!
Bugs always made me laugh, or just plain had fun. Especially when Elmer came in, haha... the classic Put-a-cork-in-it...
Oh, speaking of cartoon characters, any of you ever seen Space Jam?

Why isn't Marvin one of the choices. Where's Marvin!? He was lovable... >_>
Anyway, it seems they both work bestest when they're together. But it seems that Bugs can't seem to work with objects, only with characters, which is a big downside. Daffy... Well I don't remember much, but... It seems all his jokes centered around explosions, or something that brought him pain, which gets old after a while.
All in all, Bugs gets my vote, he really did some great jokes, Daffy, almost, but not quite. But when they work together, everything is better. Still doesn't change the fact that Marvin was better >_>
