Yush, I already know that 'stache = charisma. Mmmm... extra sex appeal to get discounts regardless of the shopkeeper's marital status.
Well, I'm not a big RPG player at all, but any little RPG games that I ever do bother to play, I just like HP a lot. Yeah, I'm great...
But I do remember way back when on my very first file on Mario RPG just days after it came out, every single level up had max HP chosen. Nowadays, I'd still even do that if I ever replay Mario RPG, and in Mario & Luigi, most of my choices would go... well, you get it by now.

I like MP/TP cause I like magic, simple as that.
Though also strength and defense are pretty good too IMO...

I've been a big fan of HP, Attack, and defense, but HP forever. You forgot magic attack and defense unless that falls under ATK. and DEF.

I was never much for magic, so power all the way! It gets me by, and it's simple enough to use.

Intellect. Getting all A's in school is cool.
But more seriously, magic is pretty spiffy. It tends to have some of the more interesting effects in RPG's, and they tend to be the.. prettiest looking. Stuff like elements (elements are simply awesome) and, really, anything that deviates from brute strength appeals to me; there's nothing all that interesting about physical strength to me, especially when magic offers so much more in regards to my tastes.

I also pick intellect,I like to be able to learn my enemy's motive(if it has one) and learn its weak point.

'Stache points. Really. It was the thing I raised most in both Mario and Luigi games. Even my badges and trousers I had were partially for stache points.

I've always been partial to the magical route in RPGs, but I don't know if I'd count that as a favorite stat...
How 'bout Badge Points from Paper Mario? The ability to equip oneself with more moves, attacks, and attributes?

Defense, ftw. I am pretty defensive in real life, too. :3 None of my friends can bring me down unless they all jump on me at the same time. D: And even then they have trouble. XD I'm also VERY offensive in real life, too. (Take example the... painful... pillowfights me and my friends partake in. Yeah. I'm DEADLY. >:3) So, really, I'm stuck between defense and offense. I like being able to take the blows, but I also like being able to feel my opponent's fear of me. Like, they just wanna scream and hide. XD

It really depends with this whole thing; but it's a most great poll of the sorts. It's true though, that even when you go into an RP; it's always a bit disturbing to have to choose some stat over the other one. You wish that all of them could be equally shared and filled out without any troubles. Some though require that you only level up in one field, letting the others riddle themselves away as you begin to grow stronger by the minute. It's intriguing how the mind works, and what makes us become the things that we do. One of the most highly recognized for anything though is the Mana of the sorts; or as it has become to be known, MP. Everyone seems to adore this, like a little child to chocolate chip cookies; they see it and their mouths slowly start to drool. Yet, who can blame them, come on now; the abilities that you are given only remain endless for all amounts of time. As you move to and fro, your skills follow after; large burst of light explode in front of your face. Thousands of particles capture themselves around you, illuminating beat by beat; each their own, slowly forming to and fro. Don't even get started on the outfits for those types of classes though; that's what really pulls it all in. If you don't want to do it for the power, some find themselves walking indoors merely for the "threads". Ideas such as silked robes and velvet hats only add more realism, bringing out that whole: pale frame, scrapped in the thinnest linens; shrouded beneath what glory, such hoods to guide the 'squise of their faces. Those with MP will always be respected for the way that they play, and the troubles they must endure; for when that strength runs out, they can find themselves in a dry run; escaping as fast as they can.
Another highly popular group has always been, and never shall be taken away: remains in the sight of strength. As to why, it's hard to say in ways; perhaps the things that we have always seen in our society. The mention of muscle as an extreme ability to gain what you want, and it also amplifies itself in the easiest of succession. Instead of having to worry about any type of Mana; these gamers need to watch their health and quickly let it grow with their attributes. If done correctly, they can come out as more than just pure bred noble warriors. Also, their weapons seem to be unoriginal yet still all in their own. From swords to axes, all the way down to shields; every little part is but a piece to the bigger puzzle. Layer by layer it adds, establishing as much as it can; without any worries or regrets. It leaves them almost inpenetrable, and disbanded from any troubles to come on any shoulders. Yet, face them with a foe who seems to have the arts on their sides, and they could find themselves in a huddle more sooner than later. Both Mana users and Strength users seem to comply with each other, more than any other faction. Together they watch out, one fights and the other heals; or even Vice Versa when another merely protects. Either coin that is tossed, they need to go hand in hand if they wish to conquer and comply with all they see.
Luck has always been an odd ball out, though that's sort of ironic to the name that it is given. Of course, one hearty reason to put your hands upon this skill lines itself in your treasures. Does this make it a greedy choice; not by any means, or anything to partake. It usually goes to show that the user has hopes of gaining an item, or some type of script to keep them over bar. Some with Luck also find themselves as traders, for once you pick up so many rare things you can never go back. As well, luck can be a mention on the number of hits you can get upon a creature. The more on your side, the less frets you could have on missing someone with more than muscle.

'Stache points contribute to luck as well as charisma, because having more 'stache points mean more discounts and higher prices of selling off your items. Trust me, everyone digs the 'stache.

I usually try to even all of them out, but my favorite is Spirit Points. Since it affects all party members, and you can refill every turn, and it allows you to use S. Moves and magic.

I usually end up relying on Evasion more than anything. Nothing beats being able to duck and dodge your enemies' blows and dive past explosive spells with ease. It's like something out of an action movie.

I put all my marbles on Power, I usually max it out before I touch anything else, or until the game says it's had enough of me bumping up my strength. Then I'll usually switch and bump up my special attacks instead. I could care less about defence and health or the well-being of my fellow party members; my theory is if you can kill 'em quick why bother worrying about health anyway?

But assume that you would need accuracy in order to hit the enemy, what if you reach a part where you can't hit an enemy? You'd be in trouble, then because of your low Health and the fact you have no defense at all, they'd be able to wipe you out easily. I can understand the idea of the more strength, the quicker they fall, but you need to back that up with other stats.
