In a simplistic form of the term, all this question is stating is centered around the idea of what you find to be art in your own opinion. With todays turning world, it seems almost inevitable to stumble across some type of "Abstract" art. This art can range from nearly anything and everything, depending upon how it effects the artist's life and comings. As you walk through a nearby city, you might have even spotted some odd shapes and designs; most abstract ideas can be seen in growing urban groups. They may be sculpted in numerous shapes and sizes, of course, it depends upon what is going through the creators mind at the time of it's being. It is in this that natural civillization, or we as ourselves, come to find them to not be to appealing. For, as it is seen, we don't have the ability to fully understand them or capture their means. Abstract art is usually constructed straight from the conscience of the hands that make it into what it becomes. This leaves it's viewers out of the gap, the only thing that can define it would be an instruction from it's creator. Many don't do this, and therefore we are left in the dark, only to define the shades and never the truth beneath what eyes can part. Critics however, seem to fall into the groups that find their hearts beating for these creatures. They are utterly amazed in their many twist and turns, caught in their canopys and raptured by their existance. One reason they have formed into such, is merely because they accept the change and the future that we intake everyday. Art has always gone through steps, starting out in minor forms and eventually growing against the grain. In the days of yore, it represented the events in life that had changed man. Scenes would be painted, famous men sculpted, all in the name of history. Today, it merely immoralizes mans thoughts, keeping them in one gesture. Something only they can really put together, and make whole by their whim. In essence, while man might be the most honorable example of alteration, art itself is just another ideal that shows its dainty face.
Art, in and of itself, has always been something to represent who and what we are. Not only does it show the fascination with the thoughts that roll through our minds, but it also displays the essence of our history and the past. It is like that of a camera, yet done from once certain spot of perception. It might not capture reality, but it will be betwixt with many dots of exxageration and imagination. It is stated, by a mention of logic, that two men will never see the same aparation. If they were to measure a glass with an incomplete unit of weight; they could come to two diffrent conclusions. If you were to put into their hands, a brush and a palette and give them a scene to capture, by the end you might find two diffrent areas. One could be bright, the other dark; it's hard really to decipher. What they chose could be wrapped inside their morals, beliefs, or thoughts that prance throughout their illusions and practices. Yet, we will likely never come to fully comprehend why the humans mind reacts like it does. Art though, onto the subject, will always be a signal of our strengths and purposes. Those that can complete it shall always follow the name of artisian. Within their day, they compiled as nobles; working to make towns the better of what they were. Striving to show completion, the want to excel and make man better. Even today, they work not all for themselves, but to gather an audience to connect with their true definition. From writing to illustrating, together the hands have always sewn a new bond in the stitch of society. Bringing and raising new heights, enlightening the minds of man and causing eruption in evolution and revolution. It is a skill to be sought, and given to those that can control it. For we see it, all throughout our world, the palms which move to create. Like that of Gods, bringing forth what they want when they want it.
It might even be said that it takes much time to introduce something to society. Perhaps Abstract art still has a road to travel that it has yet to find it's wheels upon. For it's very much so a new form that has entered these years. Most of it was found back in the era of the eighties and late seventies. It's grown since then, finding itself more active in front of large corporations and art museums. Who knows, perhaps even traditional art in the days of old was something hard to take into heart. For, before it, much of the done art was scultpture or architecture. Today, those forms seem dead to us; sure they exist, but not as much as they used to. Now it's about the paints, or the things that we don't understand. Who knows what the future can bring, but only something even better to show how much man has moved.
This is one reason why we have never really understood the idea of what "Abstract" art really was. Many men are used to one form, that being traditional art. This can easily be spotted in the paintings you see around you. Those forms of creatures and landscapes, put together on a canvas and then shipped out. It's not hard to understand whats inside of them, and even the many diffrent forms of what they pertain to can still be united. Each has it's own breath to take with a similar lung to put the air within. Then, when you enter the blend of Abstract you start to fall upon roads that lead to nowhere. Perhaps, you might see a statue that is nothing more but a large "L". At first, you might just view it as nothing more but a letter. Simply textured with a flat surface, and pointing into the sky. Perhaps if you were to talk to it's creator though, you could learn that it represented the heavens, the edge reaching for the clouds as the bottom was bred to the Earth. Who can say what it might be, for the only people who can really tell you want they want, are those that make the things themselves. This is where this thread gets it's idea. We all have seen Abstract in our lives, and always had something to say about it. In your personal opinion, "Do you find Abstract Art, to be Art" If yes or no, you can perhaps, if wanted, write about what you do find to be your definition of art. Perhaps on whatever your mind does wish it to be, that's all up to you.
