Don't worry about the bumping. It's just a poll, and not one that's too old.
I'll be a rebel and pick classical music. That's right, when was the last time your techno remix fired cannons? Hmm?!

My favourite genre of music is Rap. I'm the only one?? . Even though I hafta admit, the songs meanings are getting dumber by the day. I mean, look at Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" So many people love that song but I abhor it. it'd got a godawful beat and rhymes, overly boastful and stuck-up attitudes and a horrible beat. It's stupid, and a dreadful song to listen to. BUT I do like the legendary artists back in the day, when hip-hop had a meaning to it. Like Mobb Deep, Eminem (who's my favourite) and various others, Nas, Jay-Z's "99 Problems" and others. i also LOVE instrumentals, both of current and older songs, because usually, the beat is awesome, while the modern day "rappers" fail to amaze me with their "money, girls and cars" and "how much of a Thug they be acting like". But the beats are good. And some rappers have that talent, such as Eminem,Dr.Dre,BootcampClik,O.G.C. (Original Gunn Clappaz) and such. I also like "Underground" Gangsta Rap. Now that's some real hip-hop to listen to, not that s*** they always be playing on B.E.T. and MuchMusic. And I also Love certain video game music tunes, my favourite being Mute City, from the "F-Zero" series.

Yep, rock is for me!
I'll usually listen to anything and everything as long as it isn't classical and country, but I can withstand some. Honestly, A Capella is one of my favorites to perform and listen to, but rock will always be my top choice to listen to when I'm bored.

Rock, but thats a pretty broad description. I mainly thrive on Classic Rock, but I like some of the lighter new stuff.
For Classic Rock, i'm mainly into 70's, not much but tiny bit in the 80's, and a little in the 60's.
Pink Floyd is pretty much amazing, their sound changed a lot over the years though. If you listen to Piper At The Gate of Dawn and then Obscured by Clouds, you wouldn't be able to tell it was the same band. The drummer was the only one that was in the band the whole time. I preffer the Waters era mostly, with The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon. Before and after that was good, just not the same though. David Gilmour's solo stuff latter on is good too.
Other rock would be like The Who (awesome), Led Zeppelin, Queen, Hendrix (more 60's), Yes, The Moody Blues, Kansas, The Beatles, Genesis, Clapton, Electric Light Orchestra, The Ealgs, SRV, Blind Faith and the list goes on and on. Newer stuff would be Jack Johnson, Dispatch, Jon Foreman, and Switchfoot. Dispatch is pretty much amazing as far as new music goes. Its pretty unique, I haven't heard any bands that have a similar sound.
I don't listen to any Rap, Hip-Hop, Dance, Techno, Country, Death or Heavy Metal, or more metal that doesn't boarder on Rock. So yeah, Rock is pretty much my music world with exception to some more folk related acoustic stuff.
EDIT: Ah, and about the bump, I see nothing wrong with that. Its causes no harm. Bumping is all fine unless its on a time sensitive topic that just doesn't matter anymore. As far as I know, there is still music in this world.
