Whoo, a Yoshi poll. Yeah. How do you like to draw your Yoshies? I always loved drawing them in my own cartoony style. Sleek, bubbly even, and huggable~ They do have a Yoshi Island look to them, but cartoony it is! EDIT: Psssssst, this is my 666th post.

I said anthro, mainly because that's all I'm good at drawing, and even then it's not that great, haha.

I'd say my style is cartoonish. I love having things with distorted proportions - I find realistic drawings to be a bit on the boring side. My style is neither done after Yoshi's Island nor Yoshi's Story, as the proportions are too different. For instance, I just recently started drawing the spikes on the back of the head really large. For some reason it just looks cool, dunno why. If I were to do a different style, it'd probably be anthro, because it solves the biggest complaint I have over Yoshi's design; the small legs are cute, but they're rather difficult to work with in a few situations. I dare you to find a good way to put pants on him without making his legs longer.

I go for a style that's very flexible and flow-y, as well as not very mainstream. I have so much fun trying to stylize anatomy and shading. But my style is pretty much cartoon-ish as a general rule of thumb; realism is a tad boring, and mainstream/official styles, while fun to try drawing in sometimes, also get a tad boring. At least for me.

It was a tough choice, but I really think Yoshi looked good in Smash Bros Melee.

I laugh at people who say my artwork is Anime. But yeah, I like drawing things awesome and cartoony. Realism just doesn't work when I try it.

Aw, that's so cute~ The pose just makes me go 'awwwwwww'. Just felt I should point it out. And am I the only one that doesn't find realism boring. It's creative if you want it to be. You know what they say, 'The ability to turn something complicated simple, awesomly simple, now that's creative.' But that's just off the top of my mind.

If I had to call my style anything (and I use style in the loosest sense of the word) it'd be closest to cartoony, I guess. Of course the fact that everytime I draw anything these days the style seems to change doesn't help. Its either evolution of style or hideous inconsistency.

I actually like red.yoshi in the Yoshi Island style set. I enjoy drawing him anthro though. It makes me feel alive somehow.

Ermm.. I don't know with one to choose. .o. I guess it's a weird mix of anthro and cartoonish. I usually lean to a more anthro side though. <.<
