I have decided to leave this forum.
But before i go i would like the staff to read this.
If you don't read it and move it to the archive you'll only be proving that your ignorant.

Your rules are strict and you abuse the warning meter. This is not appealing to members.
The reason i decided to leave is because, I broke a rule. no duh right?
Well no.

I didn't completely read the rules since they were long winded and didn't get to the point. So without knowing i posted a link to my site asking for opinions on it. Whether i was designing right or not. Without informing me Lazo modified my post
so the link was removed. I thought i didn't enter it right. This occurred twice. Thinking that i was making a typo i did it once more. Then FINALY Lazo deiced to inform me of it and the stupid rule, giving me a 50% warning. I was upset over it two months later i asked Lazo to remove it. He said he wasn't going too.

So I abandoned the forum for almost 11 months, then i returned to find my warning still there. If the staff can't even remember to remove a warning thats sad.

Now for an admin to reply.

1. You didn't read the rules. By doing this, you left yourself with no clear knowledge of what you should and shouldn't do on the board.

2. If your post has at the bottom of it "Edited by Lazo (time date)", it was edited for a reason, and you don't re-add what was removed. Re-adding something after it was removed by staff will constitute a warn, whether you like it or not.

3. I don't see what the rules of another board have to do with ours. We're hosted by proboards, but that doesn't mean we're bound by the rules of their support forum.

4. If you're really that upset by receiving a warn, maybe you should stop going to forums. When you do something wrong, you will get warned, and its completely at the staffs disposal whether they remove warns or not.

5. You're advertising your site once again. I will remove the link.

6. I'm pretty darned sure Lazo meant to leave it there, else you wouldn't have learned your lesson, simply leaving for a while just shows us your resilience to heed to the warning you were given since you never proved you would never break the rule again, and thus, it stuck.

7. We don't abuse the warning meter, you abused the board by not reading the rules. Doesn't matter if you didn't think they got to the point, the fact is they are there, and people are free to ask questions about them. If they don't understand a particular rule, they can post and ask about it.

Saying " I didn't completely read the rules since they were long winded and didn't get to the point" is just asking for it. You NEED TO READ THE RULES! They are there for a reason.

Now I have invalidated any meaning behind "If you don't read it and move it to the archive you'll only be proving that your ignorant" by giving 7 justified reasons as to why you received the warn, and why you went the wrong way about getting it removed, this can be moved to archive.
