Email virus, just a warning.

Hey, I got this email warning like just a few minutes ago, thought you guys should take a look at it.

Subject: URGENT FYI....!!!! Wanted To Pass It On In Case It Is True

"FYI

This is not a joke

Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent and the
moment that you open these emails your computer will crash and you will not
be able to fix it!

This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but
mainly in the US and Israel.

Don't be inconsiderate; send this warning to whomever you know.

If you get an email along the lines of "Osama bin Laden Captured" or "Osama
Hanged" don't open the attachment."

Aww Dragon I know your heart is in the right place, but I mean, there are hundreds among hundreds of new viruses, chain mails, bots, and malicious software manifesting themselves everywhere. But there's really nothing much to discuss about this thread other than, "OMG scary ." Again no offense, and this won't count against you so no worries, just no virus threads, that goes for everyone as well, I mean I can also just dig up new virus information and easily post it here myself, but by then this board will turn into a Virus Fan Board.

Virus problems like these are solved by following a simple three step program:

Step 1: Stop being stupid.
Step 2: Problem should solve itself.
Step 3: If problem has not solved itself, then you have not yet completed Step 1.

So if there's an "Osama is Dead" e-mail in my mailbox, do I just delete it right-out?

I would. Although, I can't really imagine ANY such e-mail with that sort of title being of use, regardless. Eh. I still can't believe so many people fall for this sort of thing.
