I know, I can't wait to see more concept art and stuff from it. Heck, my mom might even like it, since she has 100s on all of the Yoshi's Island levels for the SNES.

It looks pretty interesting, but Yoshi's Island already has a good two remakes. It doesn't need a sequel, as Yoshi saved Mario and Luigi at the end, and they were brought to their parents safely.  Too many remakes... But I know I'll end up getting the game anyways, harhar. Yoshi needs a full adventure game for himself. With 3-D instead of side-scrolling. |

Aww man, you beat me to it. D: My brother told me about Yoshi's Island 2 earlier today while he was looking through some new E3 stuffs. I'm SO getting a DS now. The concept art for the game looks a lot like Yoshi's Touch & Go's art. And it looks like Yoshi will be carrying around Baby Peach sometimes, too. The environment has the same Yoshi's Island feel, yet they're much more detailed. I, personally, cannot wait. I told myself I'd get a DS once a full-length Yoshi adventure game came out on it. XD |

If Peach is in the game, then they could at least put Luigi in XD.
Alright, I'll most likely end up with it. Looks tasty now that I've seen what it looks like and have stopped being ignorant. =P
I just don't really like the look of the Yoshi sprites, still.

I'm glad to hear that they are coming out with this. Yoshi Touch and Go should have had a story, but this one should make up for that. I can't wait until I can get my paws on it. ^^

Speaking of good games, has everyone seen the new Super Smash Bros. Brawl trailer? Kid Icarus? Meta Knight? Zero Suit Samus?! SOLID SNAKE?!?!
Come on, lets see Boshi as an alternate Yoshi costume!

Hah, don't forget about Wario. Oh gosh, Snake's a huge surprise for me. XD I can't wait to see more of the characters.
I was thinking either Boshi or Birdo would be along with Yoshi. Then again, I'm not sure whether or not Nintendo fully owns Boshi, since Squaresoft developed Super Mario RPG. Then again again, Snake's going to be in this game, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe Yoshi will be a unique fighter again, which I am fine with. (:
Dag, Yoshiken and I had high hopes that King Dedede and his pwnsome hammer would be in it, too. Maybe there's still more to come.

I hope this is a decent sidescroller unlike Yoshi's last two handheld titles...
I don't like how they'll mess up the continuity (Adding another part to Yoshi's whole story here way back when with Baby Mario) just to put a convenient game there.
About SSBB< Yes, Who knows what secret characters there'lll be, Nintendo surely wouldn't announce all of the newcomers... but Sadly, I doubt Boshi would eve be in (Too similar to Yoshi, as well he's Square-Enix's intellectual property rights) which also, sadly means no Geno. Damnit, I want Geno to come back, sometime, somewhere. I'd hoped for DeDeDe, as well. And Wart. And Gooey >.> Time will tell.

Well what I meant was Boshi being an alternate costume of sorts for Yoshi. Sort of like Peach with the Daisy look in SSBM

It's going to be interesting how people fit this game into the Mario Timeline. Anyways, I'm looking forward to this, especially since Yoshi's Island was the first game I ever played.
