Hahaha, that was funny to read! :D
For my luck I'm not in that "n00b" category... I think... even though my english is not perfect... but don't forget that I know *counts on fingers* THWOO languages. Or more like 1.5 ... my english knowledge worth only a half :D
But hey, that "LOLLOLOLLOLOLlOoLLOlollLLl" term was very cool, don't hurt it - USE it! =D

LOL! both articles where funny, and entertaining to read.

Aye now that is really hilarious, great find. I also like Soul's one of the AOL user, XD!!! Fortuantly, I do hope I never really showed any of those characterisitcs. And oh my that guide really does speak the truth, I've seen it far far far to much. Don't know why n00bs act like that, or what even causes them to be like that. Unless it has something to do with the fact that, you get counted for post.
Yet, why do they talk in their silly ways and gather like such. It's quite amusing and utterly hilarious when you boil it down to the main point. It just goes to show you, as many do, be yourself when you get online. Theres no reason to try to show off to be someone you aren't, no ones really a bad person on here, well I take that back. Everyone's on this thing, but its best to be who you are. If you try to hard, your bound to come out looking like your totally lost and a n00b.
It may be something that comes over time, I think the first time I logged onto the internet was at the age of 12 or 13, because before that my family was iffy on buying a computer. I don't recall ever being like that though, of course I can't judge myself now can I. That is a great find though, and really funny. Makes me remember the old days, well not mine, but things I used to see *looks around* WHAT?

I agree with Contention. I remember the first time I joined a board, I wasn't really myself. I didn't act like a noob though, I guess I just acted like a newb, because I'd end up not acting like myself or end up doing too much which is always a bad thing. Some of us get over those days, others get lower and lower, until they are decreased to low noobs.

I think it's pretty safe to say that we were all newbies once, because we weren't computer experts the first time we used one, just be glad that you've progressed to at least the point of average computer user.

yes. when ever i start somthing, im always really jumpy and newbish, but when i get to be more expereanced/more known, i become serious, and enjoy myself more fully. That's excactly how I felt. Ahhh, I'm glad I love to learn The first thing was hilarious XDDD I loved it. It explained Noobs very well, I'd say Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice. I think that Joey78 person was an exiled noob from one of the larger herds...

n00bs must be an example of what happens when you enter a community for the first time under pressure. Of course their going to want to act like someone they are not, in communities you always wind up seeing the people who petray themselves as gods or statues when in reality they might just be people with a little to much free time on their hands. n00bs, need to learn more less to be themselves and that when you're online if you want to be accepted just act like the person you are.
No reason to go out and act like the super nova of the universe or some troll or spammer. When you get online for the first time you may not understand the fact that these people are human to and have the same human emotions that they have. In such efforts and under such pressure they may just turn out to act like someone they are far from being. It's the normal way of life to undergo such pressure and feel inferior. It's up to that person to be themselves and welcome such challanges though.

Leet or 1337 is when you replace letters with numbers or symbols that look similar.
L is 7 I is 1 E is 3 A is @ O is 0
Thats about all I know.
