Ha, just a little thing I was wondering about. My friends and I talk about it all the time; and I kind of want one. Not until I'm older, but I want a small one. I actually want a tramp stamp, even though I don't like that term, but I want it somewhere kind-of-hidden but kind-of-not. :3
I actually have a few ideas; a little chameleon(cartoony and small), an infinity sign(sideways 8), a crow and a dove(intertwined?), a beta fish, a snake(a cartoony one), a ghost(with a top hat!), that 'G' looking thing on music sheets, or a mechanical heart(with music notes). But I was just brain storming today.
If I were to get a bigger tattoo, I want to make my back look like the 'queen of hearts' card. I.e. corners have the Q with a heart. No ugly queen in the middle though. Just Qs and hearts. :D And for people who have them, do they hurt really bad or is it just a fear of a needle that unerves people? Just wondering~

Nay. They lower one's image.

I guess they don't really bother me too much, but I'd rather much not get one. It's just not me. But I have seen my fair share of stupid tattoos out there.

I'm sure they can be really super cool.
But note the "can be."
Most tattoos I see look like trash or they clash. Of course, I've seen nice ones as well, but you just really need to pick the right one. I'd probably never get a tattoo simply because I wouldn't be able to think of a permanent symbol that I'd be happy with forever.

Nay. I can't imagine being drawn on, and I don't like pointy things.
EDIT: I just saw a "tattoo lovers" ad at the top of this page. Weird.

Eh, tattoos don't do it for me at all. If you really want one, then go for it. I just wouldn't get one...my biggest fear is needles...*shivers*

I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo if I could be absolutely positively certain without a possible trace of any doubt that I wouldn't eventually get sick of it at some uncertain point in the future. Also possibly because it might be the single worst idea ever.

Tattoos can be kind of cool, but I'm not about to get one. Just as long as it's not something stupid. Actually, I think it would be cool (and nerdy) to get a triforce on the back of my hand, but that'll never happen.

I don't mind them, but I wouldn't get one. I have more productive things to do with my money.

The amount that you want a tatoo is directly proportional to the amount you'll regret it 30 years down the road.

Though I will admit some designs look cool, I don't want one because, while it may seem like a good idea at first, once you get older you're not gonna like it much. And they don't come off easy, if at all.

If there has to be one tattoo I totally give my support to, it's totally going to be this one.

That... would be the only reason I would ever get a tattoo if I wanted one. Other than that they're not really all that good-looking, especially after like a year or so.

After working at morrisons for the past 6 months I've seen some whacky tattooing. Loads of people have them, mainly on their wrists, like small ones, a flower or something, which are pretty cool. But then there's this one guy, Richard. Completely covered in small random tattoos on his neck and arms, and some pretty big ones as well. He also has a skinhead haircut and a long goatee so he looks pretty scarey, but he's actually a really nice bloke.
For myself I may get a tattoo, but it's be small or something I know I won't not like 30 or 40 years later.

Yes, I want one.... but.... people really shouldn't get tattoos of their GF or BF, or their favourite actor or musical band, because how painful and expensive it's gonna be to get it removed... and if you don't, and you got the "wrong" thing, aren't you gonna look like an idiot at the age of say, 84. xD
