Depeche Mode is okay... When remixed! Here's a favorite of mine. Take the original of Only When I Lose Myself. Holy crap, that song is utterly depressing sounding despite it's not-so-bad lyrics. Now listen to a sample of a remix done by Sparky titled Velvet Heaven. A lot more cheery taken from something that originally sounded nearly satanic. I just find that an awesome thing. |
