Masks; Carved of brimstone, Made with time.
You hide the world Behind lifeless eyes; A semi-smile And a half frown, Rosey cheeks and Pointed noses.
Crowns; The music of metals, Made of riches.
You show the world With shining stones; That's all it is, A showy frame Of vanity Feelings of sin.
Both walk among us, But no one knows which. Masks crave attention, Crowns need solitude. But no matter what- The curtains will close.
...
Lulz I felt a little poetic today~ This is freeform- I never liked freeform poems until I tried one. It has some shape, but still. Just... writing.

Wow, this could be transformed into something very deep. I like it a lot Gem, as I do all of your other poetry!

Thanks red~ It's so cool that you're always the only one that replys to peoples threads here. Sure, they feel bad that only one person notices, but then again you always notice all their work so it makes them happy~
Well, me anyway. Thanks~

I love poetry. Its such a fluent and unique art. You can tell a whole lot about a person by reading their poetry.
Its my pleasure reading and commenting on other peoples art. You are most certainly welcome, Gem, and I look forward to seeing more of your poetry.
