One of the first songs I've recorded, just mainly testing out the Media Fire file share. Link: www.mediafire.com/download.php?mtm9glbfgmgAs for the song, it has 5 parts: Piano, Rhythm Guitar, Solo Guitar, Bass, and Flute. It doesn't have vocals yet because I'm still working on lyrics. Maybe a drum part to. Comments?

Oh wow, I like this a lot. If you do write lyrics and add vocals, please share!

Hey, it sounds great! Just a few things. Watch out for the acoustic guitar that's playing there. it's slightly off rhythm, and it just sounds odd to me. Also, for lyrics, my only advice would be to vary the melody a little bit and have fun with it. Improvise the notes is probably a good way to start Anyway, it still sounds awesome! Can't wait to hear the final product, and let me know if I can be of any service if you need help!

Yeah, I'm gonna try to fix the guitar part. The computer I'm currently using has awful performance with low RAM and an old processor. For recording, theres a sampler buffer, and basically the larger the buffer the more latency you have, and the smaller the buffer, the harder the computer has to work. Because my comp sucks, I have to set the buffer size pretty much max, so I get around 60-100 ms delay on the signal. It's only less then a tenth of a second, but it throws it off big time. I tried to play rhythm chords with it and it sounded completely off rhythm.
Anyways, I'll probably try record it again with a different comp and add more stuff to make it interesting. Thanks for the advice.
