i think it would help if we had a help with life board for people with problems you know to help them solve them and when they need someone to talk to. just saying

I don't think a "help with life" subforum is something we need right now.
In my experience similar places quickly degrade into a circle of people who just praise and give fake-hugs to one another in order to make people feel better for about five, ten minutes. Nothing good happens, instead people just tell one another how awesome they are. There isn't much room for dissent.
The Journal would be the closest thing we have to it. If you don't feel comfortable posting a personal story in there then it probably isn't meant for the public as a whole, I'd suggest giving someone a personal message and talking about it in private instead.

Honestly asking a board for fans of a video game about your problems isn't exactly the best idea. Most advice given would be "its ok man youll pull through ^_^" or something, giving no real help. Either than, or someone is a bit nasty, things descend into a fight about who's being mean, crap hits the fan, etc etc.
Also, unless you have a serious, serious problem, most of them are generally cases of teenage angst or petty squabbles which are all too common these days and honestly not many people particularly care. If you have a serious serious problem, we are not who you turn to first.

I thought I'd get this out here.
The Yoshi's Corner members are optimistic, unlike a certain other place, so there is no need for one here.
If you have problems in which you need someones shoulder to lean on, take it to private places like MSN.
EDIT: Unless you have a site issue then annoy the crap out of the admins, lololol.
