Today, I got the Wacom Graphic Tablet. It also came with Photoshop 2.0, Corel Painter, nik Color Elex Pro. I'm using Photoshop and I'm working on a small sample pic to show but I need to know how to put a background on my pics. I also need some good tips. Could you help?

Do you actually mean Photoshop Elements 2.0, Jayshi? Photoshop 2.0 was a lllooonnnggg time ago.
I'm no Photoshop expert, but I can help you. Draw your yoshi (or whatever). Remove the blank white area (or whatever) with the eraser tool. The result should be your yoshi (or whatever) and a "background" of a "checkerboard" of gray and white squares. Set this as a layer. Set your background as whatever you want your background to be. When you are COMPLETELY done, I recommend you merge all layers before you save. Again, I have just experimented with Photoshop; I haven't done anything serious on it.
I hope this helps!

Photoshop Elements? I've not got that, but I presume it has a fair few Photoshop 7 features.
It's basically paint, with layers. You can do a large number of things with each layer. You can type text on one layer, and position it all layers below it. You can warp, add outer glows, inner glows, textures, the possibilities are good number of options. If you have trouble, give me a shout, but some options may be different to photoshop 7.

Flash is a plug-in. Kinda hard to explain... but you make movies and/or games out of it.
Photoshop Elements is a cheaper version of Photoshop (and made by the same company, Adobe). I remember seeing PE2 in Wal-Mart for $78, while Photoshop CS2 costs about $600.

Thing i've noticed about Photoshop is there practicly all the same! Image ready, photoshop, photoshop elements, there all practicly the same thing. Only a few things are different.
I use Jasc animation for my animation. It Comes with Paint shop.

Thing i've noticed about Photoshop is there practicly all the same! Image ready, photoshop, photoshop elements, there all practicly the same thing. Only a few things are different. That'll be because Photoshop Elements is basically regular photoshop with less, or altered features to make it easier to use, I think. Imageready is similar because its the animation pogram for photoshop

But a lot of the things you can do in the normal photoshop you can do in imageready. They should make just 1 photoshop and 1 thing for animation. Why don't you just use imageready for everything? Except, i don't know a lot about them. Everyone says there good but I like paintshop the best. It has more features.
