Law is an organized necessity that enforces both fair and unfair rules/guidelines to maintain the peace and to make sure everyone is a good doobie =D

By the definition I've come to understand, Law is a system of rules used as a tool under a specific power to make sure the individuals under that power are in the places it wants them to be. I don't see why the word "law" is often viewed synonymously with "peace," either. It all depends upon that power's moral standing, I guess.
As I understand it, order can be just as hazardous as chaos, if not worse. It's like light and darkness. People relate the dark to evil, but at least darkness doesn't cause direct pain. If you look into the sun long enough, I can promise you that it's gonna mess up your sight in all sorts of wonderfully painful ways. The way I see it, people fear the darkness because it's hard to understand; you don't see a lot in it, obviously. Light, on the other hand, is pretty easy to comprehend, again for obvious reasons. It reveals things, and it's almost like it keeps everything in check. That's what I've come to understand, anyway. I'd like to go on with that subject, but I don't know if it's exactly on terms with this topic.
What brought this up, anyway, Lazo?

Law isn't synonymous with order either, but yeah.
I think law is just a set of rules enforced by the powers that be, which people in a society are subject to.... I dunno I suck at definitions. Some laws are good, and have always existed, some laws are put in place to oppress people, some laws are stupid, etc. Many types of laws exist... In most areas of the world, law is enforced by physical and judicial instruments of the state lol! what brought this up?

The physical difference between light and darkness is that light is electromagnetic radiation--- it's energy. That energy is what can damage your retinas. What we call "darkness" is just the absence of that specific type of energy. So you could sort of boil that down to "something" versus "nothing" --- now let's mix that into the debate of order vs. chaos.
