Actually, Zyph, there is no rule against bumping topics of any age. Just as long as you provide any worthwhile input, you can revive any topic no problem.

Trust me, nobody would advise you against that anymore. It was once a mindset around here, but has since diminished because of the realization that there's no real harm, and bringing back old topics cannot work against anybody if it still has meaning and can always be applied to today. Feel free to do what you think would benefit this place and make it thrive some more.
It's always better than making duplicate topics anyway.

Well, well, you certainly have some interesting history, there. Better now than never, though, right? Anyway, what you've done in the past belongs in the past. You're here now, and that's what counts! It is a shame that we won't be able to see your past artwork, but, I can tell you're going to create some even greater works in the future by what I've seen already. Please, keep that up, it's great work!
And dreams can be amazing. I've had one great one after another each night for an amount of time I can't quite recall... I used to have a sort of obsession with them, fashioning them in some way with just about every story or drawing I made. Good memories, those.
A lot of my nostalgia is rooted in these very forums, and while it's a shame you weren't there to share any of those memories when you could have (at least not personally, as far as I know, unless you're pulling a Gemoshi on us, haha), at least now we'll have the opportunity to do so! So, at last, and without a further delay, welcome to Yoshi's Corner!

Wow! You've certainly been hanging around here for a while. Haha...I can remember back when I joined here back in '05. I was watching these forums like a hawk of sorts, wondering if I should join. It was a difficult decision for me since I'd never really been exposed to the internet by means of a forum before. Ahhh, I was so silly back then...now that I look back on it that is. But boy, have I changed over the few years that I've been here. Sure, I'm not around here as much as I used to be anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what this place has done for me. Had I not stumbled across this place, I doubt I'd be the same artist I am today. This place helped me get over my shyness, allowing me to share my work with people all over...and get tips on improvement here and there.
But...sorry...I didn't mean to go off on my own story of this forum. Even if things are a lot slower than they used to be way back when, there's still a lot of things the people can offer here. We've withstood the test of time. While other forums seem to fall apart or fade away, we've all stuck together...through the good and the bad. Yoshi's Corner will always be a special place for me.
Anyways, your story is just beginning, my friend. I hope you have a lot of fun here and bring lots of new things to this place for us to enjoy. Welcome to our family! ^^
