PWN|Yoshi's latest narrative work reveals a daring yet nevertheless effective foray into post-modern pop-cartooning. The artist's palette is no less than audacious as he betrays the conventional sclera coloration of white for a green hue. This is like no Yoshi you or I will have seen before but this is one you will remember for a good while. A fantastic exercise in minimalism, Yoshiyama's debut wastes no frames in a delicately paced demonstration of self-referential narrative that manages to be outrageously funny all the same. Humorous and quirky, Yoshiyama is indeed a promising, upcoming craft of humor and delight to anticipate.
