Hello Yoshi's Corner.

Some may know me from YoshiArtForums, the forum that I have been going to for around a year. It was there that I heard people mentioning Yoshi's Corner, and it was with little deliberation that I made an account here. Another Yoshi forum, right?

This was several month ago though. When I first came here, I was somewhat disappointed with what seemed to be a lack of activity. It was because of this that I only had a brief experience here.
Recently however, Yoshi's Corner was mentioned again, and it was at some point that someone said Yoshi's Corner was actually very, very active. This was not in accord with what I learned first hand, but they said that was because the real activity actually takes place in the IRC chat.
Soon after that, a member from Yoshi's Corner rejoined YAF, and this was enough for me to try Yoshi's Corner again.

So here I am!
The bright frame of this forum is quite different from what I've learned to get used to at YAF. Wow, it's much brighter, and I'll admit its a little more pleasing that the standard black and gray at YAF.

Well, yeah, that's it. Perhaps after I get familiar with the forum, I could try and see what the chat is all about.

Yes, I must agree with you and Zyph, that there is a lot of activity in the chat. However, I wish some people concentrated more on the Forum itself than the IRC ^^. It does bother me sometimes, but I am still here and loving it ^^. Yes, yes, you can join the Fan Fic project that has started, or submit something to the MB. Believe me, there are plans that are being made to help activate the MB, so just wait for a bit of time, and hopefully something comes out of it. I am trying to get this MB as active as it can be, that is for sure.

I've used this avvy before on YAF, so you should know who I am. And I know exactly what conversation brought you here. The exact same one that brought ME here... Sort of. Mainly I just wanted a second chance because my last visit here I was a spammy n00b. I used smilies and exclamation points in every oner of my posts.

Did Yoshiken tell you about Yoshi's Corner and its history with YAF too?

I think this is necessary, if YAF and Yoshi's Corner are to ever get close again.

Hey, welcome to Yoshi's Corner! If you ask me, though, I like how it is. Everybody knows each other (excluding the newbies, obviously, but there's always room for growing), because there aren't too many people to get to know. We can also goof off to some extent because of that and actually have some fun rather than breathing down each others' necks about the little things. Also, a topic I make doesn't get pushed to the next page by the thousands made by other members. To me, this place is absolute paradise. Minus the occasional troll slaying. But, that's always fun to watch.

Why yes, I do. Yoshiken12 changed though, so now there is only one Yoshiken

Oh, no, I haven't given Zan a detailed explanation of this MB and YAs past. Oh, and Shoe, maybe I am an over-optimistic man, but I also believe that YA and this MB can have a better relationship by our efforts ^^. However, I definitely respect all opinions.
