Yoshi artist project

Simple, but interesting.

I was thinking of getting several Yoshi artists around the net to make a group drawing. If this works well,

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I'd like to get a few drawings of normal Yoshis from a few different artists. We could then paste them next to eachother as one picture, so we could have an interesting display of several different styles here at YAF. This may not sound difficult, but this is only a first try. If it works and everyone seems to like doing this, we could expand into more complex drawings or fusion comics featuring numerous artists.
For now, let's try and make something simple.

Guidelines
-Make a drawing of a Yoshi, fancharacter or generic.
-Traditional art and art done on a computer are both acceptable.
-Put your signature next to the drawing. Do not make it excessively large.
-oh, and I'd prefer a white background.

After you have done this, I will shrink it to an appropriate size, so that it can fit next to all the other drawings. Yo will receive this much room:

The size of one of the rectangles in the pic is what you will get. (That's my entry btw)
I hope to gather a number of interested artists on this project!
Many YAF members are worked on this too, btw. That's where the current result is coming from.

Yeah, definitely, this sounds like a great idea. I will try and help you get this thing started. I might join myself if I get the confidence up to actually show some of my art ^^. I am very self-critical.

I haven't drawn yoshi in forever but I wouldn't mind participating in this. Sounds fun~

Is that the actual size, or will the finished image be bigger? I'd kinda like to get some idea of the pixel dimensions before I begin.

Ok ok, that image I posted isn't right. It's too small, something weird happened with it.

The image you submit should be: 400 pixels wide, and 600 pixels high.
I will then shrink it to the appropriate size.

I need to find a way to upload the entire image so that the image doesn't shrink like that anymore. See the image I posted? The original was twice as big, but Photobucket altered it and made it small. Anyway around this?

Pawy: Heh, I agree that overlaying all the images would be cool, but as of now, let's just see how many people we can get on this. I think we can break over twenty. If this works... we could definitely do cool stuff in the future.

Everyone, take your time. There isn't a deadline, just don't stall for too long.

Also, if anyone could recommend any potential artists on DA who draw Yoshi, I would REALLY appreciate it. You could bring them to this thread, or you could just give me their name.
I kind of feel awkward approaching random artists on DA though...

Make something cool. Remember, proportional to 400x600, and make it bigger so I can frame it more easily.

This was a project that was started up to get people to work together on a drawing project.
If you really want to, you can join the second Yoshiartist project I'm gunna do.
It'll be fun, you should join.

For anyone who didn't add something in this time, the same applies to you. You can join the next one. It'll be much more collaborative than this one.
