Wow, that is phenomenal for a first try ^^. I am also curious as to why he is depressed? The detail and the shading are pretty good. congrats!

Boy, so you two want to know why the Chocobo is sad and depressed... Let's just say as I was drawing it, I felt somewhat depressed at the time... so thus the Chocobo is depressed/sad. The other reason is well I imagined myself being that Chocobo and my expression then was a sad looking one... The expression of that Chocobo really reminds me of how I felt when I finally joined Yoshi's Corner... scared, nervous, shy, confused... The Chocobo's expression is not limited to just "sad" or "depressed" mind you... it can also be see as nervous, etc... Thanks for the comments by the way... Making artwork like this are rare for me... that is because I rarely ever finish artwork to the point where I color and shade it, yeah? Yeah, man... all I can say is... I totally feel it. I am right now in a state of empathy. I understand all of those feelings and see them... Pretty sweet stuff... keep it coming, yeah? |
