Well, I didn't quite know if I should've put this in the banner section, or here. But, since it isn't actually my submission, I'll put it here for now.
Woo!I think this is a first! So, like I said, I would be hard at work once I got a program I could use. Zyph (and Blitzzo for the advice), you are awesome! I haven't had too much trouble with GIMP after the first hour! So, after about three hours elapsed time, here's what I have for a potential new banner: img269.imageshack.us/img269/9229/picture3kn.png
Obviously, it won't be that large in the end, and I've mainly been playing around with the background, but everything will soon fall into place... now I just need to figure out how I can draw yoshi on my laptop with no mouse, just a pad... this may take a bit
Anyway, comments and the like are greatly appreciated! I would love to submit work of my own to be used here, but I want to make sure that everyone else thinks it's worthy! The ones that are up so far are awesome, so I have a lot of ground to make up for
