It just won't stop snowing over here. Our campus got closed early today at noon due to snow emergency. I'm not entirely sure if it'll remain open tomorrow, either.
It took twice as long to commute to campus in the morning.
At about 9:50 am, during my study time in the university center, an alarm went off, ordering us to remain calm and leave the building through the nearest exit. I had no idea what to make of it, but as it turned out later, they were closing down all the buildings, come 11:20 am.
Anyone else here finding themselves covered in obscene amounts of snow?
Speaking of college, it's sorta lame when all you're doing is working on homework for your classes, then goofing off to cool down before the next wave of homework, etc. etc. Really wish I could somehow find the time/motive to work more on my hobbies - on things that I (and many others) would actually find useful. Like my game engine/framework. That's life, I guess.

I'm really sorry about your troubles, but I mostly came here to tell you that you have an awesome thread title.

Upstate New York is in an obscure amount of snow: not much at all. Especially when considering that DC, Maryland, Virginia has had three very significant snowstorms, which will certainly break local seasonal snowfall records, while Albany has been left barely outside the reach of the storms in December and last week and only a few inches from the storm today. My meteorology professor is really getting bummed out by it.
And yes, college is like that. The worst part is when you're putting more time and energy into GenEd classes than classes for your major and minor.

3 feet here too.
I mean, that's not all from yesterday. We have 20 inches from last week plus near 20 yesterday minus 3 or 4 inches from melting.

We normally get a lot of snow here. But not much this year, so thank you for stealing it from us. =D I hate snow.
We still are getting snow though. Just not as much as normal.

Bunch of snow here too, everything is normal though, since it's not that special around here, although last winter we barely had any snow at all.
Almost 1 meter at some parts, which seems to equal 3.2808399 feet.
But it has started getting warmer now so I have nothing to complain about.

I've had more snowstorms this winter than I've experience throughout my lifetime. And that's saying alot! XD The first snowstorm was on Christmas Eve, and it snowed around 14-inches of snow along with snowdrifts edging 4 feet. The second was a couple weeks ago, and we got around 8 inches of snow with snowdrifts of around one foot. I'm ready for Spring to be here!

Global warming my foot, even we're (Florida) getting some snow. Global warming is the heating of the Earth to cause the ice caps to melt. It has nothing to do with temporary weather patterns. Anyway... Here we're not getting much snow at the moment. It was much worse around Christmas, but lately there hasn't been much. I'm glad because I'm not a fan of snow. We still have snow on the ground from weeks ago though, and it's still bitter cold.

My university closed down today too. I got to miss three out of my five classes today, awesome. It's been snowing all day. It's okay.
Am I the only one that's noticed that you feel warmer when you walk outside while it's snowing?
My only complaint about the snow is I keep slipping on random steps everywhere.

You know what's funny? I said the exact same thing to my sister yesterday when we were walking into the dentist's office.

It's t-shirt weather over here in Arizona, but that is to be expected. I have even had to turn on the fan a couple of times.
Actually, I just looked out the window, and it is raining, so change that statement to it is 'usually' t-shirt weather.
