After sixteen long years, it looks like SEGA's finally ready to return to the classic Sonic. And, they're continuing where Sonic 3 left off! I seem to recall talking about something like this happening some time ago. Well, I'd be more excited, but, they're withholding some details, so, I can't imagine what to expect. However, I do know that it's a DC game, for WiiWare, Xbox Live, and the PS3. It also looks like they're going for a sort of New Super Mario Bros. style, with 3D visuals and 2D gameplay. I hope it has nice parallax--that's always been one of my favorite details about classic Sonic. I can't fathom what this "Episode #" is all about. I'm also not sure what to think about the game being a downloadable. But, I guess we'll find out. They have a site up, too. Well, here's hoping it turns out well!

Man, they spent so much time fooling around with the character it's hard to take any of their projects serious for once.
Hopefully they'll get the record straight with this one.

After years of back-to-back failure, I am glad to see that they are returning to the entertaining basics.
