Syleena had kept her mouth shut for most of the time because of her shame of almost blowing the group's cover with Kyral trying to help Teal, so in her mind she thought that if she at least shut up then people wouldn't want to wring her neck for her mistake, so she followed the group, fighting when she needed too, and helping out when she needed to. She was looking for a way to redeem herself.

Champ snorted as Karth left and returned to staring into the mid-distance.
Slug bumped Syleena with his elbow. "Ya've been... uncharac'ristically quiet for a while, eh?" He grinned. "What'd ya think've th'party? Anything ya noticed?"

Syleena just glared at Slug and continued to stay shut up so she didn't mess anything else up, and was still looking for a way to redeem herself, if there was any, as she hoped she could.

Teal was dreaming about his past adventures which is making him remember more of his past. He often traveled solo and sometimes traveled with a partner. In his memory though his partner would only appear as a dark figure.
Teal remembered that he had certain devices that make solo traveling easier and less risky and they were stored in his plane. He remembered that he can use powerful wind-based magic but has no idea how to use it. He anticipated that it would take him at least a year to be able to use it again.

"Ach... guess that didn't go over very well, did it?" Karth shrugged at Slug. "Ye know, if anybody else has some kind of supernatural ability that I can, er, borrow, fer a while, then speak up. If we're gonna play with the 'big leagues' then I wanna know what everybody's capable of, up front."

Syleena shrugged, trying to talk as little as possible so as she doesn't piss anybody else off so she can get on the good side of her party members again and not repeat her mistakes. "Well.....I can jump higher than most Yoshi's....." she muttered.

Yoshiken had been pondering over Champ's recent reaction. He noticed Karth pursue him for a short time, only to immediately return. Yoshiken worried about Champ's departure at first, but decided that it was for the best, and would help to relieve him of the obvious inner struggles he was having.
"I can only summon fire," Yoshiken said, in response to Karth's question. "Sorry."
He cast a smile as he turned to face Syleena. He saw that she was reluctant to socialize. "Hey, Cheer up Syleena, and don't worry about before. Nobody is perfect. It was just a simple mistake. Look on the bright side! At least we were able to plant the tracking device, so it isn't like we failed."

Slug smirked and bowed. "Jussa simple Bandit, sir! And it was a lucky shot. Ol' Slug'll forgive ya for now, kiddo."
The storm outside had mellowed to a heavy drizzle. It was still too much to walk comfortably in, but at least not dangerous. Champ slicked his wet fur out of his face and sauntered back inside. "Everyone ready to move out yet? No time to lose, I guess."

Teal was still sound asleep with a bubble expanding and deflating on his nose. Unaware that the group was ready to leave.

Syleena turned to Yoshiken and smiled. "Thanks for that. But I still feel like I screwed up majorly on that front. So I really am looking for something to redeem myself somehow. But that's just me." she turned to Teal and popped the bubble. "Wakey-wakey Teal. Time to go."

Teal opened his eyes and stretched his arms a bit. "It is? Alright let's go. Thanks Syleena," Teal happily said before grabbing his things. "Is everyone else ready to go?" He dusted himself off and then slung his weapons on his back.

Syleena looked to the entrance and got up. She took her dagger out and polished it trying to get the blood off. "Well, its just rain. I don't really think it will have too much effect on us." she followed Karth.

"Right!" Teal said to Karth and then stepped out into the rain in his jacket. He didn't put it away this time. His long scarf got wet and didn't flow with the wind.

"I guess I'm ready, no point sitting around here when we could be off hunting magiturtles." Moot made moves to get up and go, but decided against it when he saw it was still raining. He looked over towards Karth, replying to his earlier question. "I don't really have anything you could steal, unless you stole my ability to steal abilities off of other people, which I'd only end up stealing back off of you... I think. Either way, there wouldn't be much point."
Moot took another look at the weather outside, which didn't appear to be letting up as much as he'd hoped. He wasn't too thrilled about going out and getting drenched again, and waited to leave after everybody else had decided to set off.

Slug hesitated as Champ strode on out into the storm, and hung back with Moot. "Man... th'ol' robes ain't made for bein' wet." He sighed and stepped out. The rain immediately drenched his clothing, the robes sticking to and revealing a lot of strangely-shaped objects hidden away.
Champ smirked, baring his teeth. "If you're so interested in redeeming yourself, kid, stop yakking about it and actually look." He skirted the path for a ways around the thieves' den, just in case.

Syleena just sighed and looked around to see if there was anything that was worth noting. Her hair was getting drenched, as was the rest of her, and soon she would be completely drenched, the wind blow her hair in her face, and making her clothes heavy.

Teal noticed that Slug was trying to hide some objects he brought along. He became curious and whispered to Slug, "Hey what do you got there? It looks like you brought a lot of tools with you." Teal realized the group was in the forest where they had previously encountered the thieves. "It better not happen again," He thought to himself. "However my plane is near where I met these guys so this is the only way."

Karth's clothes didn't seem to sag very much - they seemed to be built for bad weather, as it was likely frequent where he came from.
