Pokemon: Trade Me a Gible?

I have SoulSilver and I want a Gible. I have Platinum but the problem is my character in SS hasn't seen a Gible so I can't use GTS to trade one with myself. I don't want to wait 100 days just to start seeing Gibles in the Safari Zone. I also don't want to rapidly turn my DS off and on 200 times to use the time trick either (that can't be good for the DS battery).

So is anyone willing to trade with me over Wifi? It can be a Gible, Gabite, or a Garchomp. I just need my character to see one of them then I'll trade it back. Btw does it register as seen if you battle someone who has one? We can just do a quick battle instead if you want if that works.

I unfortunately don't get good enough of a signal here to partake in many WiFi shenanigans.
However, you do have to actually have the Gible in your pocket for it to count as 'seen' in Diamond at least. I'd assume it's the same for SS. If I can get a signal tonight I'll trade one over for you. I don't need it back.
I'll post my friend code as soon as I know what it is after dinner and we'll see what we can do.

I have the National Dex and if we traded the Gible would count as "owned" so I'll definitely be able to use the GTS for Gible after that. Is there a specific pokemon that you need? PM me when you're ready.
