Hmmm... kind of tough, but I think my favorite song from Japan has ti be a tie between DJ Sharpnel - Flower Forever (Extended Mix) and Shadow K - The Fastest Dreams.

Ack, I have waaay too many to name. Most of my music collection IS J-Rock and J-Pop...but if I was to pick one, hmhmhm...probably Tiny Boat by The Pillows. It always reminds me of summer. n__n

Do you have a URL so we can lisen to it? like i have done (tell me if you like it ) Actually, no, I don't think it's available over the Internet, but Flower Forever is unreleased on vinyl on Rave 'n' Beats Japan and The Fastest Dreams is available on a CD single from UpSurge. You can listen to a 47 second sample of The Fastest Dreams here: www.upsurge.co.jp/webshop/music/153_music.ram. You must have RealPlayer, which sucks. The full song is longer than 7 minutes. Also, I've taken the full vesion of Flower Forever when it was still on its official website (no longer there, of course) as rm form and converted it to an mp3. If you want, maybe I can send to whomever wants a good listen. My friend told me it was a remix of some animé theme or whatever. He told me it's from Ai Yori Aoshi. Never heard of it, and I don't even know if I spelt it right. I just think Flower Forever sounds cool, even though I don't like animé. |
