I'm really sad this topic doesn't exist already.

So, as you likely already know, the world cup is going on. Right now. Seriously, I'm pretty sure there's a game going on right as I write this post.

This year, I'm rooting for England and South Korea. I suppose I wouldn't be terribly upset if Mexico or USA did well (they probably won't), but yeah. I still can't believe England's goal keeper managed to botch up their match against the USA. That was such a terrible blunder.

The World Cup is pretty cool. I only started paying attention to it this year because I found out that the culture surrounding it is endlessly fascinating and how everything plays out due to some pretty flawed rules.

I'm not rooting for a team, though. Maybe I'll do that for 2014.
