The Elements
Fire burns with a passion
and deals great destruction.
But it will clear away the old
and make room for the new.
Water flows with gutsco,
always pure and clean.
It will wither away the rocks
beneath the riverbed.
Wind blows blissfully,
through the meadows and trees.
Picking up dust
and carrying it far and wide.
Lightning strikes quickly.
A flash of light
and it's gone,
as quickly as it came.
Earth is strong and unwavering,
but given time it will shift.
And what it lacks in brains
it makes up for in brawn.
A poem for my friend GiGi
Gigi, such a beautiful girl
looking like a pearl.
Her mood always shining
like some silver lining.
Blue eyes bright
in the star light.
Always so kind
never needed to be refined.
Well that's Gigi
if you don't believe me that's your loss
Man of Nature
I am a man of Nature
I am a man of the earth
Like fire
I’m strong with compassion
Like the wind
Bendin the grass beneath
Like lightning
I’m there and then gone
Like ice
Walking the frozen land
Like water
Slowly wearing down my enemies
I am Elemental
The man of Nature
The group of three
This group of three
Is unlike anyone I've ever seen
Erin, her blonde hair shining
Against the heat of day
Personality bright
that changes with the night
Bernice, her black hair gleaming
Against the moon's fading light
Cheerful with a dark side
shifting with the tide
Rachel, her brown hair shimmering
Nice, quiet, compassionate
can be mean with a passion
This group of three
is unlike anything I've ever seen
Midnight storm
The Wind howls like a lone wolf
Baying at the midnight moon
The clouds cover the sky
Like this blanket snug against my body
The rain splatters on the window pane
Like angry bees smashing on a windshield
The storm
When will it end?
The trees are tearing
The roads are flooding
The river is overflowing
