Do not listen to video game music. Most of it's not any good (though I do like the monkey rap from Donkey Kong 64).
LISTEN TO THE BEATLES!!! Most of their songs are happy.

Most of their songs are happy. actualy,most games(note those shoot and kill ones) have good music the final fantasy normal battle music is upbeat,the boss music however is a little dark so don't listen to that yoshi's island has upbeat tunes as well(so does the whole mario series) |

Daniel Nahmod is great. Four of his songs I listen to whenever I'm depressed, "No Place for Hate" (which actually reminds me of a good friend), "We Breathe the Same Air", "Get There", and "You Will Fly". If anyone wants the lyrics, I can write them up, they are IMPOSSIBLE to find over a search engine, believe me, I've tried.

You shouldn't listen to : Autumn Tears (all of their music).

I was on launch.com and was listening to "Wake me up when september ends" then "clocks" came on, and it sort of made me sad of a sudden, it just got me all depressed, so I guess don't listen to those two back-to-back!
