Condemned... (To be continued)

[Teal]

"Right now it's getting close to only 2 miles away from the harbor..." Miles said before turning toward the pilot. "Show us the route." The koopa nodded and while following a chart that maps the route he flew down the harbor to give everyone a bird's eye view starting from the last building going towards the first.

"We must clear the obstacles in the danger zone." Miles said getting a wide laser pointer. The device was a special highlighter that gave the buildings a red tinge creating a visual danger zone.

-an open canal as wide as a bus. There is no bridge nearby.

-another open canal as wide as a car. There's a bridge to cross but it's not in the carrier's route.

-There's a bulldozer, 2 jeeps with mounted-rocket launchers, and a car with a heavily armored front located mid way through the harbor.

"Yeah....it makes me question the emergency system's guidance too...it's like a blind bat...with no sonar! But knowing these strange occurrences lately it's like another 'supernatural attempt' by Ruki's ghost to end the world."

Firago was a bit intimidated by the amount of obstacles. "...Well I guess it's time to get movin."

The helicopter landed in the midsection near the vehicles.

"2 miles." Erill repeated to himself. Then, looking at Erlosung, he said, " That means we have six minutes at best. You can't even bulldoze through a couple of shacks in that time, much less, a harbor. I think you're the one being absurd." With that, he climbed out of the helicopter, with Irin right behind him.

Maya got out of the helicopter and stretched. "OK then. Who is getting who and who destroys what? I figure that it would be easy if we have this all planned out. Because then we wouldn't be confused on what was happening and botch this up." Maya looked to the vehicles. "I'll take the bulldozer. Figure I can knock a few heads using that rather than anything else. I can plow through things easy." she glared at the vehicles. "What is everybody else getting?"

[Teal]

The abandoned harbor was abundant with rust. Buildings were corroded and the water looked oil slick black. The air smelled like rust and salt mixed together. It was windy and it howled like a banshee.

Firago looked down the red path towards the freight containers. "I think we should start from the beginning so we gain more time somewhat as we work."

"The one working the bulldozer would have to fill in the potholes and I think there's a crate of Super TNT around here that we can use to take down that sturdy building at the end. The bulldozer person needs to push that crate close to it and get away so someone can detonate it...you sure you can handle it miss?" Miles asked.

"Magic users....we probably need your help somehow making a bridge so the carrier can cross those canals. Maybe an ice bridge? The carrier is incredibly heavy so you probably have to maintain the bridge as it crosses...

Melee fighters....some of these buildings look weak enough to be crumbled from your attacks....provided you hit hard enough. There's also the possibility of infected victims who might get in the way. Feel free to attack them...they are getting in the way of a critical situation.

Engineers and detective....might want to use those vehicles I don't think you guys are strong enough to take down buildings."

Firago growled showing his teeth, "What did you say!? Oh! I'll show you I'm not useless! Guys, don't listen to this moron. Do what you do best!"

[Zyph]

Erlosung heard the additional info given from Miles and repeated to himself.

"20 to 30 miles per hour... 2 miles... 6 to 4 minutes before it reaches our current spot... an additional 3 to 2 minutes through the 1 mile of obstacles... hrmm..."

Then he heard Erill saying something similiar as well as an additional statement calling Erlosung absurd.

"Heh, me absurd? As if I already don't look absurd, but if what Miles said is accurate, this whole situation is absurd..."

He then looked at Miles.

"I hope your calculations are errorneous... afterall high stress can cause one to make numerous miscalculations..."

He then saw Erill and Irin get off the helicopter.

"I don't care who and what is absurd, but you best make use of every second! I suggest you and your kid to make them bridges!"

He then looked at Maya.

"I guess you can take the bulldozer and make a path through the frieght containers by ramming all into it, pushing them off to the side. I hope there is nothing in those containers however..."

He then looked at Ignuss.

"I'm sure you are strong... You can make sure the freight containers really are out of the way... but once done and hopefully we are alive, help Ignuss and Irin make a bridge. You do know some magic after all... I suggest you ride with Maya however and... perhaps fend off possible infected people that might go after you two. Later on, you can help fill in the potholes with your earth magic."

He then looked at Hansen.

"I hope you can operate a rocket-mounted jeep. You should take one, and I'll take the other. We can take care of the buildings, but I'm not sure how much ammo there is per vehicle. Also, I'll glaze the missiles with a special mixture of chemicals so that the missiles will not only just destroy the buildings but also melt it down flat, which should save us some time. The missiles with the chemicals are going to make the area it hits super heated, hence it will melt things in the proximity of the explosion. The area is superheated only for a few seconds before it starts rapidly cooling down by the lingering chemicals that remain from the mixture. It will cool down faster especially with these winds. I'll think it through more after we get through a certain point."

Then he looked at Firago.

"And... I guess you can ride with either with me or Hansen and do what you can do to help in this situation... and I know you are the leader but we need to act fast!"

He looked at Miles.

"Speaking of chemicals, where are the chemicals you said you have? And where is the Super TNT as well?"

"Yes. I will be able to handle it. You just need to point me in the direction of the keys to start it up. Then I will handle the rest. I won't let you down, as I know I can do this. Just as long as nobody gets in my way. I will be able to do it just fine. This is what I always dreamed of. Of course, without the risk of death. But some risks have to be involved." Maya sighed. She waited for the keys to the bulldozer.

Erill sighed. "There's only one way we can get that truck past this harbor, and this isn't the way." He sat down and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths.
Irin began searching the vehicles for anything useful

[Elemental Ninja]

"I can't drive, period. Leave the containers to me I'll have them down in no time. I'll catch up later and help with the bridges and potholes but I warn you I may need to be carried out, Magic takes tons of energy. I'll go now." With that Ignuss ran off the handle the containers first.

"The keys should be in the ignition for all the vehicles." Miles said to Maya. "You can cross that bridge to get to the containers."

"The chemicals are in that box in the chopper. Use whatever you need. Oh and the jeeps with mounted rocket launchers have only two rockets each...It's all we have for this location so use them wisely." Miles said to Erlosung. "The Super TNT crate....it's around here somewhere in the start section or the midsection."

Miles looked at Erill who appeared to be just sitting down, "What!? Aren't you going to help? This is no time to be sitting down and meditating. What are you doing??"

The vehicles didn't have anything useful. They didn't have glove boxes or trunks.

Firago just looked at Erlosung and nodded, "Well...I better get started." He quickly flew over to the first of the 4 normal buildings in the start section. Hovering above it he grabbed his rifle and loaded it with a HE grenade round.

Erill simply ignored Miles and continued meditating.
A gentle breeze began to blow.
Irin was examining one of the jeeps. "hmm...how does this thing go? I turn this key...." The jeep started. "...I pull this up..." The parking brake was disengaged. "I pull this lever and put my foot on this pedal?" Nothing happened. "Or is it supposed to be this pedal?" The wheels turned, and the car began driving...backwards.
"WHOOOAAA!" Irin yelled. He released the pedal, which only caused the car to slow down.
.oO(If that's to accelerate then this must be to brake.) He put his foot on the other pedal, and the car stopped.
.oO(Uh...Does that R stand for... reverse? Then this N must stand for....normal?)
He moved the lever to "N," and pressed the pedal. The engine roared, but nothing happened.
.oO(No, no. it must be neutral... So are these numbers... different speeds?)He turned the lever to "2" and pushed the gas pedal. At last, he got the car to move forward.

Maya rolled her eyes as Erill was having a hard time with the jeep then looked back at her comrades and shook her head. "Its D! D! D! D is for drive! Oh Vey." she face palmed. She jumped into the bulldozer and started it up. "Who is gonna check the containers? Does anybody want to do that real quick?"

(Irin is the one in the jeep)
"Well how am I supposed to know?" Irin shouted back. "I've only been in a car a few times in my life!"

[Zyph]

Erlosung continued to listen for more additional information.

"2 rockets per vehicle... 4 rockets... 4 buildings taken care of... 5 other buildings to take care of... hmm... And oh the chemicals are there? alright..."

Erlosung then went to the crate of chemicals and took all the chemicals he needed.

"This will do... And the Super TNT is somewhere around here? Well alright... Perhaps Firago can look for that for us. He can fly after all..."

He then got off the helicopter, and by the time he got off, he saw Irin took one of the jeeps with rockets and went off.

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO GLAZE THE ROCKETS ON THOSE! AND THAT JEEP WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR... bleh... dang it... Alright you know what, we still need to move forward!"

He saw Erill just sitting down and meditating. Erlosung just analyzes what Erill is up to, then Erlosung shook his head in deep disappointment.

"Whatever you have in mind Erill... Geez..."

He then heard Maya's statement.

"If I recall, Ignuss already ran off to take care of the containers. We need to move now! Every second counts!"

And with that Erlosung ran to the other jeep and jumped on it stylishly. He then glazed the rockets in the rocket launcher with a certain mixture of chemicals, then flipped back onto the seat. He then does a quick analysis of the jeep.

"Alright... I know how to use all the functions of this vehicle. Hey Hansen, go with me! LET'S MOVE MOVE MOVE!"

[Elemental Ninja]

Ignuss reached the containers and began sizing them up, "Huh, more brittle than expected." Ignuss brought his arm back and punched through the side of one, "Wow these are old!" Ignuss began leveling the containers

Maya was really feeling the heat now and remember what Firago said, tried to figure out how she could fill the potholes. She looked around for anything that she could use to fill the potholes. She hoped to find something that she would be able to use to speed this along. "Oh come on, we need to figure out how to get rid of these potholes. I can't risk driving into those potholes. What the hell can I use?"

[Yoshiken]

(Sorry for taking so long. I had a big midterm report due this week that I had to work on, which killed me schedule).

Hansen looked at Irin driving off with his jeep. "Hey! Come back here with my..." He stopped as he saw that it was having no effect. "People these days! No respect for their elders I tell ya!"

He looked back at Erlosung who motioned to Hansen to be a passenger on the other jeep. "Oh, fine, as long as I get to listen to the radio station I want, hahaha." He climbed into the jeep, and focused on the task at hand.

After much effort, Irin had the controls for the truck all figured out. Except for that big, red, inconspicuous button that we all know does something crazy. He got the truck aligned with one of the regular buildings, and pressed the button.
Obviously, the button was to one of the rockets. it went spiraling into the building, and with a loud explosion, reduced the building to rubble. Funnels of smoke spewed out of the wreckage, heading due north with a heavy gust of wind.

[Zyph]

As soon as Hansen hopped in, Erlosung revved up the jeep to the max without hesitation and starts moving at top speed.

"Yeah whatever, just choose your radio station you want, but LETS GO GO GO!"

The jeep made a slight wheelie at first and Erlosung went streaming through the Harbor with style and skill, turning on the radio that initially plays off a certain frequency direct from Erlosung and played intense-sounding rock music. As they pass by a building that needs to be destroyed, Erlosung made the jeep spin in a fancy 360 and while in the process, shot a missile at that building. The rocket, with the added force due to the vehicle's momentum, shot fast onto the building and made a mass explosion that, mixed with the glazed over chemicals, incinerated the building completely completely flat with no left over rubble. A rather strong heat wave can be felt as the explosion occurs, followed by a cold chill. As the building is incinerated, Erlosung completed the 360 without losing momentum and starts driving towards the next target.

"AWH YEAH, ONE DOWN! LET'S GO!

Hey Hansen, think you can handle this next building? I need to make a certain chemical..."

And with that, Erlosung motioned Hansen to take over the wheel.

Maya hopped out of the jeep and went up to some pieces of wooden plyboard. "Well here is hoping that I can drive over this." She started to take several stacks of the wood and place them over the potholes. "If I can't drive over this, then we are as good as screwed because there are no other way to fill the potholes." she prayed that she would be able to handle the drive and drove over them while watching for any signs of breaking. "OK. Good. I made it. Now lets see what else I have to do. OK. Just remain calm. Listen to the instructions. I should be able to do this. OK." she remembered about the TNT. "OK. Now I got to find that TNT."

Irin frowned at Erlosung.
"Showoff." he muttered.
He shielded his face as a very heavy gust of wind blew through the open window. Then he saw it.
"Runaway truck at six o' clock!" He yelled. The truck was getting dangerously close.
