So right now I'm going through one of those Zelda phases. I have no deadline, but I really want to play through each Zelda game during my leisure, concur each storyline, and leave no heart piece un-obtained.
My personal favorite Zelda game of all time is Ocarina of Time, the first 3D Zelda game to see the light of day. The characters and plot are so unique and interesting, and the game concepts flow well together. This game was truly a breakthrough in 1998, and I'm still coming back for more 13 years later. Not to mention Nintendo's releasing yet another remake: Ocarina of Time 3D for the 3DS.
So, what's your favorite Zelda title and why do you like it so much?

Star Fox Adventures. Okami is up there, too. ... I don't even know how to respond to that, excpet that Okami is a really great game. For me, it's a little bit of a toss up between Ocarina of Time and WindWaker. The difference maker I guess would be how long it takes to sail from one place to the next destination. I mean, it's cool and all, but when you have to go from one section of the Great Sea to another one all the way across the map (and you don't have the whirlwind tune yet), it gets pretty bad. On the other hand, I can go and make a grilled cheese as I let the game sail on (did that a couple of times). |

WindWaker~ Cel shaded game always seem to be some of my favorite.  And though other people may hate it, I like wasting time on the sailing scenes.  |

Wasn't this up here already? In any case, A Link to the Past is definitely my favorite~ I just did a search for "Zelda" in the poll vault for any posts containing 'zelda' in them (for the past 999 days) and the closest relevant thread I found is a poll rating Twilight Princess. Well, even if it is buried somewhere anyway, I apologize. :V -shrug- |

I think I'm going to say that Ocarina of Time is my favorite. Part of it is nostalgia. I have fond memories playing that game when I was little. It was a really great game. ^^
A Link to the Past would be my second favorite. Majora's Mask is third. I think that game is underrated. I loved it.

I can't believe I'm the first person to vote for Majora's Mask! The atmosphere is incredible, and it really tightens up the 3D gameplay of the series.
I would also give a runner-up to Twilight Princess here. It made me feel young again.
