I didn't realize this until now? Jeez, where'v I been? Anyhow, I think it's a great test, there's just one factor that's bothered me ever since the Convention idea was mentioned. How? Alot of us don't have credit cards, I have a bank account and an ATM card, but alot of us don't even have jobs. Not to mention, parents can also be a decisive factor. But if there is a way to raise money, I'm all for it, and this test would be a great way to see whether or not it'd work.

Honestly, the ads don't bog me down much. If it's $140 you're after to only take down that ad banner on top, then... eh, I don't see how it's completely worth it.

The minimum you'd need to take down the ads is $7, and its only good for a month anyway...
Like Norby said you're probably better off using Firefox and the AdBlock extension

I paid for adfree for another forum. $5 it cost me for 10,000 pageviews. The frightening thing is, it went in under a week.
The forum has/had(as it was cracked, and destroyed recently...) 630-odd members. Around 100 were still active, and we almost always had guests on.

… Heh, the RPG died quite a long time ago. The convention idea can be seen in this thread. I see. Very amusing. Maybe I could take a week off of work and drive around the US picking some of you guys up.  Maybe save up enough to get everybody a web cam—then you can have a virtual convention. (Did somebody already mention this?) |

I think banner at the top of the page isn't that annoying BUTAfter researching in the script, I get this one! <script>
