Ooooh I remember the harsh N64 Controllers. That rod always seemed and felt strange to me... for some odd reason. It did wear out you have that right, I think I broke mine once as well. The only game that was murder on that rod was Mario Party, and I rarely played that. I just remember having to turn and turn and turn and turn it over and over again on games where your hand felt like it had burned off.

Well, if Nintendo can pull it off this controller will be awesome! Let's just hope they can! I think poitning and clicking for throwing Yoshi eggs would work swell, a Yoshi Revolution would rock!
But hey, and Yoshi rocks so...
GO YOSHI!
But seriously, Nintendo has a lot of possibilites with this new controller, they better work hard to match that or they will hurt themselves forevermore!
Don't die Nintendo!

It'll take a long time to get used to that, as opposed to having a controller you can grasp with both hands. I can imagine holding this thing, and it feels pretty awkward. But I'll probably end up getting the Revolution anyway. I've just noticed something however. You can't see them too well on those photo's, but there are ridges on either side of the controller, which could possibly allow it to sit in a holder so you can use it like a normal pad perhaps? . I sure hope you're right. The freaky controller design for the PS3 was bad enough, I need something normal.

1: Theres a "proper" controller for the Revo being made, the normal remote snaps into a shell type thing
2. That fugly PS3 thing isn't the final design.

I hope Nintendo encouarges both ways of making games! That they still have many NEW games (not ones downloadable throught the library) that use the shells, because otherwise it will most likely fail because it wont have the type of flexibility that consumers want!

Hey, I LURVE my SNES! XD *plays it all day again ^^* Ow... I still have blisters from playing Starfox 64 and ario Party... XD But I still love those games and always will.
The Revolution controller? No. Just, no. I have an ultra-steady hand when I play games and never fidget. I learned that when I played Mario Kart 64. When you tilt yourself, you never turn the kart. When they make all this thouchy-feely stuff, I feel like a newb again and can barely play, since I have all those "good" habits.
