Your Ideas for a New Yoshi Game...

So what would you all like to see in a new Yoshi game. It can be for any of the platforms. Explain basic story and characters and any new enemies or tools or abilities that Yoshi has in this game. It can be a sequel to a current game (like one you need to eat fruit in based off of Yoshi's Story) or (gravitation-control based off topsy-turvy) just write whatever you would like about it!

Here's an idea I had a while back. It isn't purely a Yoshi game though.

Game Name: Super Mario world 3

Main characters: Mario, Yoshi

Short description: Mario decides to visit his pal Yoshi who is living in Dinosaur Land (the place in SMW) When he arrives, everything is strangely quiet so he decides to investigate what's going on. Soon after, he runs into Yoshi who tells him that Bowser and his kids have once again taken over the island and captured all his yoshi friends.

That's about all I figured out.

Goal: Get rid of Bowser and his children (again)

Game play: your basic 3d adventure game (like every Mario game since SM64)

Levels are played either by Yoshi only, by Mario only, or by both simultaneously (multi player available in that mode)

my idea is a game where a Yoshi(you can pick the color,name, and gender) gets separated thanks to bowser,and you have to eat enemies to lay eggs and you need to fill like an egg meter to clear a stage

you eat fruits to stay health and gobble enemies up to clear a stage.

some stages their are Yoshi's that have lost or want something and need to find it ,items like seashells or a special fruit.

you can also unlock a game thing were you raise a Yoshi,the color determines the environment like red Yoshi's live in a volcano and green live in forests

there would also be bosses like in the volcano stage you would face lava piranha and you would have to shoot his weak spot with eggs you find on the platform

as for birdo,i don't like that idea,birdo is ugly and I'm not sure if she is a Yoshi either

chances are this won't happen unless like soul,i become a millionaire and license it.

it would be called: Yoshi's island 2: Yoshi's adventure. it would be 3d too

If you re-named Mario party to Yoshi party and payed more attention to yoshi, there would be no difference.

Now to my ideas:

I've always dreamed of a game where you explore a 3D world as a yoshi (SM64 DS granted me that) with vast levels full of suprise, beauty, action, movement, and sound. It would be kind of like a Legend of Zelda, solve puzzles, beat bosses, but the yoshi twist would be a sublime addition, and also not all equipment would be grappling hooks and all, but a new varity at times, such as a pair of winged boots, a set of new moves, maybe a sword but not sure, and at the very limits, spells.

Just a thought...

Location: Marque Pelago (an archipelago of islands)
Good Guys: Yoshi, Shy Boy(a little Shy Guy), Mayzee(a pink Crazee Dayzee), Snipher(a retired army Snifit), Juff (a nerdy Ruff Puff), Miss Mowz(you should know her)
Bad Guy: Wart
Bad Minions: Petey Piranha, Shadow Yoshi, Triclyde, Fawful, Bowyer, Shadow Queen, Axem Rangers
Features: Has cutscenes like Kingdom Hearts, battles are turn-based, every move requires special action commands

i think of a pirate yoshi game(your characters are yoshi pirates richi and bori). your chracters are kinda evil so bowser and other badguys are on your side

oh, i remember something like this in the old YC

a game where you start with a kid yoshi and you choose the color of the yoshi, gender hair appearence etc ect

later when you`re older you have to help the yoshi`s on yoshi`s island, they`ll have quests for you and sell you clothes, food and other stuff like weapons

you can also walk in other villages and marry another yoshi

sort of a fable idea

i knew this sounded VERY familer, anyway, i forget my idea but its in the older thread somewhere floating in yoshi cafe.
