I was just reading about the hurricane season topic and in the last post it said something about Burmuda. What is up with the burmuda triangle anyway? Why do ships and/or planes suddenly dissapear? Did they make a movie about it? I wonder if the series LOST is based on crashing into a mysterious Island in the Burmuda Triangle? It might be because there's weird people there...anywho, Is it unknown have scientists figured it out yet? Is it a strange magnetical pull in the earth? Im sorry for asking so many questions but it interests me so much ;;; (which is new for me) and why doesnt anyone go to study it...like in a wooden ship or something? Or (if possible) wooden plane? Does anyone have some answers...Ive been interested in this my whole life. *eye twitches* Sllloooow down Ice deep breaths >< ..........ahhhhh....thats better and no its time to go watch fullmetal!

First citationsThe first mention of any disappearances in the area was made in 1950 by E.V.W. Jones as a sidebar on the Associated Press wire service regarding recent ship losses in the area. Jones' article notes the "mysterious disappearances" of ships, planes and small boats in the region, and ascribes it the name "The Devil's Sea." It was mentioned again in 1952 in a Fate magazine article by George X. Sand, who outlined several "strange marine disappearances". The term "Bermuda Triangle" was popularized by Vincent Gaddis in a 1964 Argosy feature. Long story, maybe this - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bermuda_Triangle

Last I heard they believe there is an imbalance there of magnetic pulls so anything going in any direction over or across it are pulled down to their doom because the magnetic pull is so strong. But of course many people talk about aliens too --_--, I watched a bit of a show for history class about people who said they saw bright lights over the triangle and were taken into UFO ships! Well maybe...lol...I bet not! XD
Hope that helps...probably didn't!
