Dang, I have stuff to share ya about. I have a direct tv with hundreds of channel, and guess what. We all remember the classic of Boomerang from cartoon network, yus? Gewd! Now, here's the scoop, I found the old classic music cartoon of Flinstone. I was surprised when they show text when during the intro music of Flinstone. At the end, I discovered they use the word 'gay'! I have caught my eyes on it and I laughed. I'ma try show proof, since I don't kid around, I'm serious! XD
What about you people, you got story to share too?

How was it innapropriate?
Most likely the only way it could've been if it was used in a deragatory form. However, on Flinstones, chances are it could've meant happy, that's all.

I've noticed that sometimes too. If you've ever read Agatha-Christie's 'Ten Little Indians' book, it used to be called, 'Ten Little (word for black person)' and had to be re-named. It is now known as 'And Then There Were None.' Still a good book.

"Gay" was a widely used word a while back. It did mean "Happy". I've heard it used in numerous Disney movies...

Yeah, they say "we'll have a gay old time." .. A happy old time? Get it? It's really not inappropriate.. and I don't see how "gay" in the other sense of the word is inappropriate either, as long as it's just the word.
