The fitness test is horrable.I think that the fitness test is to embaress you that you aren't physiclly fit. I think that instead of the fitness test,we should have a candy eating test or how slow can you run a mile.

I rather enjoy it. Sometimes, I can run like it was nobody's business, but I can't climb that metal pole for crap.-_-;

The pacers don't bother me that much since i usually do pretty good. The mile doesn't bother me i think it's fun lol. The pushups aren't very cool, i stink at em. Sit ups don't bother me either since i'm better than the majority of the class. Stretching is somthing i've never bean good at. And doing the trunk lift i'm ok but half the time i do something wrong and my stomach is hurting for a couple days. But as long as the tronk lift is after the sit ups, i'm ok. But last time i did a lot of situps i couldn't do anouther one for like a week lol.

NO! The running a mile was okay, yet sore, but we have to do all those pushups next. My legs are fine but my arms can't lift 20 pounds over my head. I can't even do a pushup! DAT EVIL TEST IS GOING TO KILL ME!!! Glad to see someone who agrees!

The last time I had to do a physical fitness test, I could only do 2 push-ups. Good thing mine isn't until about December or so. =P

I never liked the fitness tests because they would take priority over other stuff we would be doing. I've had them during tennis time, basketball time and flag-football time before. Wasn't very pleased.

It takes 20 push ups to be ahem "healthy". I was way up in the mile, the sit ups (easy but afterwards kill ya), the pacer, and OK on the trunk lift (you lay face down on the ground and lift your head up while still looking down at the ground ).
edit- the mile isn't bad. I haven't done a sport for years and i can breeze it. Though i'm not that fast at it.

Wow. 20 push-up just to be healthy!? At our school for the girls it's only 8 and for the boys 17. And at our school we only do curl-ups, sit-up and the mile run.
Edit: I was able to do 11 push-ups and my back still hurts me from the test. It's hurts whenever I pull my arms back.

If I ever have a fitness test, I'll tell you how it was. =P We do run about 3/4 of a mile in PE, and we do 20 push-ups and sit-ups, but that's it.

Ahaaa, I remember that fitness test. Sit-ups were my favorite, push-ups were a pain. Though, I haven't had to do any since sophomore year. Now, playing my brother's DDR on the Standard difficulty in my free time is my idea of staying fit. My aerobics teacher even said that it's a good substitute to cardiovascular exercises. But I do know that I need to do a lot more than just that. xD

I find the test okay...it's just annoying for some of them to wait for the other people to get done. Push ups- I'm ready to give up at 20, but believe in yourself, and you can DOUBLE which I do. Crunches (sit-ups, whatever)- 75...but we can't go anywhere beyond that. Mile- I would strive for that 7:14 time...but I would have to sit and stay happy with 8 minutes, 45 seconds... Pull ups: I never ended up doing that... (track and field unit, not test) Long jump: 11'6"...and I'm a shorty! well, used to be...I'm in a growth spurt of sort, I'm sure I could do better now. (track and field) High jump: I never was good...I can barely make it above 3'8"...which is the minimum for girls C...second to lowest minimum...I needed 4'4" to make par.
